We've been coming to Jim Barbarie's for year and it has proven to be on of the most reliable local restaurants.Service is friendly and efficient, someone is always there when you need something but no one is ever hovering around.Prices are very fair, starting with the cocktail menu with a fair share of innovative selections along with the usual suspects.For starters we love the fried mozzarella, which is home made and you can tell. Lightly breaded, thin slices of stringy, milky, delicate cheese have a fresh flavor and minimal greasiness, really among the best we've had. Likewise the calamari, dusted, not breaded, lighter than most with the flavor of the calamari taking center stage.Entrees come with a side salad, which is always a nice touch and helps with the flow of the dinner. We tend to stick to the tuna steak and prime rib, both solid values, though for special occasions we've also gone for the king crab at the best price around. It's a real deal! The chicken francaise is also one of our favorite entree items.The best part of going to Jim Barbarie's is that it feels like a special occasion no matter what you order.

This place never let's us down. Nice upscale restaurant. Everyone there is super nice and it's all hands on deck when they're getting slammed. Llllooooove the prime rib. Our ultimate favorite.

My husband and I had an amazing meal last night! Our server Max was awesome! He was so friendly and attentive! Our meal was incredible! The mussels in the Gorgonzola crème and boom boom shrimp were amazing!! As well as the filet mignon and stuffed lobster tails ! Worth every penny and We can’t wait to be back!

Used our gift cert we received for Christmas. Our food was very tasty. And our cocktails were also very good. We also had delicious appetizers. I had boom boom shrimp,my husband had tbe calemari. My entree was NY strip steak. My only little disappointment was I requested medium rare, and it was medium to medium well done. My dessert was tiramisu other one was frief banana cheesecake. Both were delicious. Really enjoyed our dinner.

Last night my work family and I gathered at Jim Barberies on Padaranam rd for our Holiday party and unfortunately the evening was ruined shortly after arriving when a member of our party requested a food accommodation (gf). At first I thought the manager was joking as he seems the type to make awkward jokes but no .... he refused to accommodate and kept mentioning the dept of health. He was uninformed with what foods would be gf, it was quite baffling to see someone in the food industry be so ignorant on the topic. It was a terrible experience for my friend and the rest of the party when it was supposed to be a special bonding time for us to celebrate eachother for all of the hard work that we love to do working with special needs children in this area. While we enjoyed the our holiday party last year at the mall location (not this one) unfortunately we will not hold our party at any if the locations again.
