I used to enjoy getting sushi take out here fairly often, but something strange is going on lately. They stopped answering the phones and if you look on their website, you can click on items to order online, but it says the restaurant is closed. We tried twice in the past few weeks and it has been the same on their website and still no one answering the phone. They really need to update their website and tell people what's going on. We have a gift card that seems like it will go to waste now and it looks like you can still order gift cards on their website. It would be very dishonest if they are still allowing gift card purchases if the business has actually closed. Beware of that.**Update- Drove past tonight and the For Sale sign is up. They are officially closed.**

i love this play so much very nice and sweet. i always get crab ragoons extra crispy and kani salad , but recently maybe the past month they haven't been picking up the phone idk if they are closed for the winter or if they are going out of business i feel as either way they should let they're customers know what is going on especially because i always go 2 times a week

Two years post covid this place is the only place in Danbury only doing take out orders which is absolutely ridiculous! Also lately I've been trying to call them to place an order for pickup and nobody answers the phone during hours their website and google says they're supposed to be open. I don't know how this place is still in business and it's a shame because I liked their food but I will be giving my business to someone else given this place is not consistent.

How is this place still in business! They’re too cheap to re-open and it reflects on their disgusting take out! Such a shame what greed will do!

I ordered online and went to pick up. When you walk into restaurant no one speaks to you no hello nothing, they assume your supposed to know to go to a table to pick up your food....I ordered shrimp ramen, I have never seen ramen that awful. It was literally soy sauce, oil and water mixed together for the broth and the noodles were very hard and stuck together as if they were old and sitting around all day. The only ingredient in the ramen was one hard boiled egg, a couple pieces of hard corn and some shrimp, no spices no veggies no seaweed nothing at all, it literally looked like the laziest cheapest ramen ever….I only tasted the “broth” (which was gross) I did not eat the food I gave it to a coworker who stated “it was the worst ever” very disappointed

Ordered online, drove there. They didn't have my order. I guess you have to place a call to them to order. Disappointing. Only open for delivery and takeout now. Too bad there is no longer a sit down restaurant. It was a good one.

I ordered take out from koo yesterday and I asked for xtra sauce for my fried rice ,they accommodated without a problem, once I received my hibachi chicken and steak was amazing ,the only criticism I would have is to much teriyaki glaze ,I tend to like the meats without a lot of sauce (I know I'm a picky person, but without a doubt I would order fro them again, keep up the great food Koo

Worst ramen I’ve ever had. Came with smelly chicken and a hard boiled egg.

I have come to find that if your order from this place after 6pm, the food has a high chance to taste bad. Bearable at Best. Their only redeeming factor is their sushi. Not the best but it’s good. Honestly kinda disappointed with my order tonight. They are so hit or miss. I ordered orange chicken with pork fried rice. Last time I ordered it which was about two weeks ago, it was amazing. Then tonight I get the same thing and it was hardly recognizable. Probably won’t be eating Koo anymore except their valentine roll.

Boy oh boy where do I even begin? I had a couple friends over & through past experience I loved this place so decided to order from them but after last night I truly can't say the same anymore. We had ordered a bunch of food; gyoza, 3 orders of California rolls, spiderweb roll.. etc the list goes on. We had ordered through postmates & finally got it delivered after waiting almost a whole hour. No worries great food takes time however when I had opened the stapled bag the 3 orders of California rolls & the shrimp tempura were missing. I had called the store & a guy picks up super rude! He starts gaslighting me stating he was the one that packed it so he knows for a fact he placed it in the bag I'm just not looking and if that's not the case the driver stole it...who says that?! The bag was stapled first and foremost aside from that if he would've just admitted he forgot to pack it no worries I would've went over there to grab it but cmon now. What a rude person this was such a ridiculous experience that could've easily been avoided, the person who picks up the phone is the person who sets the tone for the whole place management needs to do a better job at correcting this specific employee.

so not sure where to begin. I ordered fried rice for take-out and few other things that had no taste to them or an old taste like the food was reheated. instead of getting fried rice I got plain noodles, lo mein noodles, along with my house special lo mein which was horrible. no taste and slightly foul smell to the meat so I couldn't finish it. i called to let them know they charged me $9 for noodles I didn't order.koo: what time did you order so I can look at receipt. what did you order? (frustrated tone and demanding)koo: well the receipt says you ordered noodles....(angrily)me: I didn't order any plain noodles.koo: well you should check the receipt..anything else I can do for you?me: i don't care what the receipt says, I'm telling you I didn't pay $9 for plain noodles. I ordered fried rice which I did not get.koo: well the guy is not here today...you should check your receipt next time and make sure it's what you ordered.me: I understand, however, I didn't see the receipt since it was attached to the bag and I never ordered there before. I repeated it twice over the phone when I ordered it and he repeated it back to me. nonetheless, are you going to make this right?koo: you didn't check receipt when you picked up. (argumentative tone)me: I can bring the noodles back and so I did and they were supposed to be veggie lo mein( as receipt says) and it was plain. I showed the lady at the pick up window the plain noodles the incorrect receipt she holds so high and showed her the receipt that she keeps referring to as correct. she agreed with me that this was not what the receipt says!koo: took food and said nothing further! she did look disappointed but no apology nor anything to rectify it. I will never go there again. $$$ in their pockets and out of mine. I feel scammed, to be honest. $50 dinner, $9 for a container of noodles which is the same price as the fried rice so I didn't notice any discrepancy until I got home. that's y I'm doing this review to avoid this happening to others. She was making excuses and taking no accountability. buyer beware!Edit: I wish I read these reviews before buying here. I am shocked to see several others with same experience as me. that explains alot. ugh
