Great service and tacos. They press the tortillas in front of you and then griddle them. Great find in a 711.

I've been here twice already. First time, the worker left without notifying anyone. This last time, it took a minute but someone eventually helped me out. The food is OK but they make up for it with the flour tortillas. I will need to come back during breakfast hours.

I went to the newly opened Laredo Taco Co in West Haven right by the I-95 entrance ramp. I thought the taco and chicken spot were separate entities but they are all part of 7-11. I love Mexican food and we were on our way home from shopping so I thought I would give them a try. I wish I kept on driving. You walk in and all the meats are in steam table. The only meat that looked edible was the chicken. I ordered the two chicken taco dinner with two sides. I asked for double refried beans which looked like one side it was such a small portion. My husband ordered the ground beef and a chicken taco with the same small double side. The beef looked so dried up it reminded me of the Seinfeld episode when Kramer ate the hot dog at the Alex Theatre that had been there since the silent age of movies, just to prove Lloyd Braun wasn't crazy and then got violently ill. I couldn't believe he ordered it, maybe I should have his mind checked. I have to say, the tacos are a good size. By the time we got home, (a short distance away) the food was cold. We also ordered the chips and Queso. The Queso wasn't bad, but the chips were so salty that I had to brush the salt off the chips and my tongue was burning from all the salt. There were no prices on the menus nor on the menu board above the counter, just the calorie count. By the time they rang me up I was up to $26.00. The reason I gave 2 stars is because the server was very friendly and enthusiastic.

The tamales are delicious the bardacoa are also good the carnitas have a lot of fatty rubber pieces but over all not bad and the eggs and sausage was good and chorizo and eggs was also very tasty

Mmmmm. Mmmmm. Delicious!!Only thing is they need to work on always having lots of fresh batches of food. They’re newly opened so I’m sure they’ll figure out their rhythm.

Never thought I would write a 4 star review about food I found in a 7-11 but this place is doing quite a few things very right. First, and perhaps most importantly when buying lunch in a place like this: it was clean. Second, the gentleman who helped me (Carl) obviously took pride in his work. He prepared my food carefully, wrapped it carefully, gave me a good recommendation on which item to choose. He was wearing gloves and a hairnet and was generally very well put together and kind. As a business owner myself I know it it hard to find people like that. Third, the food was delicious. Having tried every taco in town I think these would beat almost all of them. Fresh made tortillas and authentic ingredients that are hard to find in Connecticut. Finally, 2 big tacos for $7? Nice. This place will do well and I will definitely be back.

The food is not terrible but its not the greatest. The refried beans are so dry/flavorless, the beef is good just so greasy, the queso has good flavor but even when you warm it up its still thick and clumpy. They forgot to give me my tortillas so I cannot comment on those.

You can’t but smile when they’re so awesome to you early in the morning! Absolutely loved their morning tacos! FRESHHHH!!

Wait what, am I the first to review this place? In these awful times of inflation, there is a sane option: Laredo Taco is pretty damn good and the price is right. Even the drinks are inexpensive, probably cuz this eatery is an extension of a 7-Eleven. But the best part is the tacos are HUGE!!! I ordered the two tacos/two sides deal and it was wayyyyyy too much food. And that's a good thing. Cuz this other place I went to in Brookfield just won my vote for World's smallest taco. Honestly, based on your appetite, one taco might be enough. But why not live life to its fullest and gorge yourself? Before I forget, they also got one of those great salsa/hot sauce bars as well. Don't waste your hard-earned cash on those fancy & trendy Mexican restaurants. I'd rather trade in the loud mariachi band for a quiet table next to the sunglass rack. 5 stars, can't wait to go back.

Food was horrible I’ve never wrote a bad review until I tried this place. Way over priced meat tasted like leather. Save your money and go to salsa Fresca or chipotle up the road.

(Translated by Google) I liked the service, the varied menu, the excellent flavor, and the flour tortilla is very fresh, like freshly made, but the chips are a bit runny.(Original)Me gusto la atención el menu muy variado el sabor excelente y la tortilla de harina es muy fresca como recién hecha pero los chips están un poco corriosos
