So we got sandwhiches and they were good but the parfaits that we got were bad , I got physically ill from it and it smelt really bad I took one bite and it smelt bad so I stopped eating and thru it out and got so sick little while later . Can’t believe

I've been a regular at Nardelli's for a couple years and have never once had a bad meal. It's always phenomenal and service is always excellent as well. I've had half their menu and would recommend any of it, but in particular I'd recommend the shaved steak and cheese, the barbecue bacon chicken and the pulled pork sandwiches, as well as both their seafood salad and macaroni salad, and any of their parfaits and cheesecakes.
GOD DAMN. Probably one of the best, biggest sandwiches ive ever had. Sandwich came out like 3 mins after I ordered. Place was clean and the sandwich was AMAZING. I've never had such a loaded sandwich like that before. I ate the first half of my steak and cheese, and was almost full. I looked at my other half like i already ate a full meal. But I pushed through cuz that's how good it was. The two guys behind the counter did me and my friends right. It's now my go to spot and I can't wait to go back there again!

Tonight, Jackson took excellent care of us, and our sandwiches again were made to our exact specifications. It's this kind of attention that keeps us coming back.

Great sandwich shop, and easily the most authentic serving the most "real food" food in the area. Classic NYC bodega-style ambience inside, with the available sandwiches' fillings on display behind glass, but far better than NYC bodega-style service. Friendly and helpful staff, who, when an online middleman service messed up my order one time, didn't stop till they'd made it right, even though it wasn't even their screw-up. Add in the ability to order great salads and get a decent latte or cappucino with your order, and this place is miles beyond its local competitor sandwich shops.

They put mayo on my Italian combo . Sandwich was all bread, no meat. Also got a chicken parm. Chicken cutlet was like 2 inches thick - really gross food.

First time visitor from Wisconsin, and I could not be more impressed. Delicious sandwiches, salads and desserts. Please come to Milwaukee and open up a Nordelli’s there.
Ordered the Italian combo n was very pleased. Wife ordered the chicken cutlet w hot sauce etc n liked it. I had a bite n it was real tasty. Granted it's slightly different that I'm used to in NYC Italian delis but it satisfies my Italian combo craving up here. It's like Blimpie on steroid. Or blimpies meets Arthur Ave. lol. I recommend giving it a try. I've been back a few times. Staff was very cool too, not sure what other commenters experienced but....

One of my oldest "visiting up North" tricks is to hit delis like this to stock up on food for the room. Even if you don't have a mini-fridge or a microwave (fortunately, my hotel around the corner had both), sandwiches from these places usually travel well and keep well...and they beat the hell out of delivery (especially if you don't want food from a national chain and don't wanna take a gamble on an unknown local). Nardelli's is perhaps one of the very best and luckiest places I've found. The have a spectacular selection, all of which was incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. I expect to visit Danbury again, and when I do, I plan to stay at the same hotel...which means I'll have the advantage of knowing to pop into Nardelli's before I check-in!

Best grinders in all of CT. I usually get the baked stuffed pastrami from here as a treat. The owners are really friendly. We've also had them cater for a party for us and the quality was great!
