Formerly Cosimo's Pizza, Papa G's Pizza is located in the Danbury Fair Food Court serving up thin crust NY style pizza (by the slice or whole pie), deep dish & crostina pizza slices, stuffed slices, pasta (baked ziti, spaghetti & meatballs, chicken parm), salads, ciabatta sandwiches, baked rolls, Pepsi fountain drinks and cold bottle drinks. The prices here are moderate, but fair: a slice of cheese pizza is $3.49 plus tax and a whole cheese pizza is $15.99. They also offer combo meals served with side salad and a 20oz fountain drink. Recently after shopping, I stopped off in the food court for a quick snack before a big meal later on. I ordered a slice of Cheese Pizza ($3.49 plus tax) which was warmed up in the oven. The thin crust cheese pizza slice was topped with a red sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. The thin crust was firm and crisp on the bottom and the firm edge crust was not too thick. I would stop here again for another slice of pizza if I happen to be at this mall again.

I came with my kids to the mall to grab some food and do some shopping. Figured I would grab a quick slice and a drink for and another drink for my 5 year daughter who didn’t want pizza. I asked for a cup with lid and straw for the $2.99 Snapple apple juice for my daughter. When I noticed I was charged $1 for a cup; I simply said I didn’t need it that it badly. She would be okay with a straw. The short woman at the register obnoxiously handed a dollar from the drawer (not the $1.06 I was charged) and said ‘I pray for you’. The customer next me even said ‘wow that’s some expensive cup’. Not looking to make a scene in front of my kids, I sat down; ate a sub par slice of pizza and wrote this review. Apparently the employees don’t work as hard I do and $1 is nothing to them as it may be to me with 3 small kids that I could spend on 100 other things they would rather have in the mall. If you like mediocre pizza and horrific service then Papa G’s is for you! I pray for their cashier ?

Ultra sweet sauce? I bit my pizza it it was sweet. I asked for a cup of sauce and the marinara was full of sugar. That’s why my pizza had a sweet taste. Overall clean and presentable. But way too sweet. ?

We only have Luigi’s but in Danbury we have the best. “SOHO”.To the owner of Papa’s, please consider being the #2 Pizza shop especially since YOUR IN A MALL!!!Make it better PLEASE and I will remove this comment.

This establishment is something worth talking about. It's all in the pudding... from the whole staff to the secret ingredients they use. I wouldn't be surprised if you ordered many different times in the same few weeks; they now have two locations!Rumor has it this company is expanding, and the owner loves all his customers new & old alike. Give them a shot— or two, highly unlikely to make you you feel. Likeike the young outpatient l iridium family like you remember from home back in the day!
