Ordered an Italian Panini this evening and got a Cuban.I didn’t even realize it when I picked up my order, I worked all day and didn’t eat.I’m eating my sandwich and I’m wondering where is the red roasted peppers, the salami, the pepperoni…like where!?And I’m not faulting the cook, I’m faulting the guy who took the order!Same guy was so engrossed in a conversation, I got ignored when I arrived to pick up my order. Same guy who took my order!People need to focus on their work and not so much having casual conversations.

Don’t waste your money there. The lady who worked there (bartend) was extremely rude. The food was cold and tasted bad. It’s dark and dreary in there, and the tables are wobbly and sticky.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pippa Sports Café, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Danbury, Connecticut. As a sports enthusiast, this café immediately caught my attention with its vibrant atmosphere and passion for all things sports-related.First and foremost, the staff at Pippa Sports Café deserves applause. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and sports events. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and made to feel right at home. They go above and beyond to ensure their customers have an enjoyable experience. The café itself showcases a diverse range of sports memorabilia adorning the walls, creating an ambiance that caters perfectly to sports fans. With numerous flat-screen TVs strategically placed throughout the venue, every seat is a great spot to catch the game, no matter where you are seated. It's the perfect place to share a meal, grab a drink, and cheer for your favorite team with friends.Speaking of food, Pippa Sports Café offers a solid menu of classic sports bar fare. Their juicy burgers, loaded nachos, and wings truly hit the spot, satisfying any craving you might have during a game. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality and taste.Furthermore, the drink selection at Pippa Sports Café is extensive, with an impressive array of craft beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from. I particularly enjoyed their selection of local and regional craft beers, which added an extra touch to my overall experience. My only small qualm with Pippa Sports Café is that it can get quite busy during peak hours, which might result in slightly slower service. However, the staff does its best to accommodate all customers promptly, so just a little patience might be required during those times. To sum it up, Pippa Sports Café is a fantastic spot for sports lovers seeking a great atmosphere, delicious food, and a vibrant social scene. The staff's dedication, coupled with the fantastic ambiance and scrumptious menu, make it an excellent choice for individuals or groups seeking an enjoyable evening surrounded by sports enthusiasm.Whether you're a local looking for a new favorite sports hangout or a visitor passing through Danbury, I highly recommend paying a visit to Pippa Sports Café. It's a worthwhile spot to immerse yourself in the game, share in the excitement, and savor some tasty food and refreshing drinks.

Food price / quality (value) rating 8.5. The atmosphere is Sports Bar. Very good pub menu including several unique offerings. I had the "Vermonster", which is a roast beef sandwich on a ciabotta roll, with baby arugula, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and a horseradish garlic aioli sauce, which was excellent. The wife had a tuna melt, which is no longer on the menu, but they made it for her anyhow! We sat at the har, where service was great. The only negative was that the cook ignored my (and the bartender's) request that my French fries be extra well done, a problem that seems to be endemic at most restaurants. Be prepared for a loud experience if you go on game night!

This was my first time at Pippa's. I ordered a burger and unfortunately, I was not impressed. I'm not a picky eater ,and the burger was just mediocre. The young lady who waited on my friend and I was nice. I think I would go back and try something different. Maybe second time's a charm.

We were looking for a place to watch Sunday football and found just the spot! Pippa's has great game day drink and food deals, as well as happy hour and other specials. We loved the chili cheese nachos and also enjoyed the fried pickles (breading is a bit thick). The full food menu has a wide range of meals - definitely something for everyone! The space is inviting and lively, with tv's everywhere, but not too much noise. Most of all, their service is exceptional! We enjoyed talking with Erin. Can't wait to watch more games here!

This was the Very First time in 7 years dining at Pippas, I was told the waitresses "shared" tables? Our Server never came back...just don't get it??? Doesn't feel good to be ignored and have no follow up to our table. The other waitresses seemed to be rushing us out! It's too bad because we were there celebrating my promotion, left a bad taste in my mouth! Normally I order the salad and eat the other half for my office lunch, but since we were treated sideways, I don't even want it!
