Place was closed did not realize that now only take out the outside is disgusting trash all around . I was looking forward to eating there have heard so much about it.I was very disappointed . It is hard to get to and after you find it I’m surprised the city allows it to open even for take out . It needs to be cleaned up

The Sesame Seed Restaurant has been a favorite of our family, could it be over thirty years? We had a favorite waitress for many years. She had a wonderful smile and was lovely. The food is always good and the ambiance is like walking back in time. I would love it if they had gluten-free pasta options. I miss eating gnocchi and the raviolette!
First time rating anything, found this place by pure chance passing by the area for work. This place is truly exceptional in its charm, relaxed quirky vibe, hospitality & food quality. I felt i was being hosted in a close friend's house.

The atmosphere is definitely relaxed, so do NOT come here if you are in a rush.Heather was such an amazing host, and served us while we were there. I was truly impressed how she is to her customers, even though she had so many orders to complete all on her own. I highly recommend Sesame Seed for its delicious food as well as inviting and cozy environment! I only started liking hummus because of this place. It's so good, and they also have the best chicken marsala, that I can't even bring myself to try anything else. They're always super friendly as well.

Their sesame salad is very fresh and crisp. I love their hummus and when you get it to go they always supply a heaping bag of pita, they’re just about the only place that gives you enough pita to finish the hummus. They are still not open for dining but it’s still worth the trip for takeout.
