My family loves coming to The Cue, and I always leave happy. My favorite is smoke salmon with mashed potato.

My son and I have often gotten deliveries from The Cue and have LOVED it. We've been trying to get there in person and it finally happened yesterday! Yesterday was very rainy and dreary in CT, so we were a bit surprised to see them so busy on Saturday, mid-afternoon. As we approached the door, we smelled the smokiness before opening the door! A good sign! The building appeared relatively small from the exterior, but upon entering, we realized that it was much roomier than the outdoor appearance. The host stand was to the left and we were able to get seats pretty easily. Several tables were filled with happy diners - there was actually a table of 16 people celebrating a birthday. Beyond that table, we noticed a smaller room that can accommodate a private party, too. From the dining room, you can actually see the chefs loading and unloading the smokers through a large window! Onto the service - our server, Zeo, was very sweet and accommodating, checking on us often, refilling our drinks, chatting - very personable! We ordered drinks - my son ordered their house made sweet tea, that was perfect! And I had a bourbon cocktail with peach puree and orange - it was definitely bourbon forward with subtle flavors of the fruits! Delicious! And we ordered The Cue Nachos with Chopped Brisket - the serving was ENORMOUS! The cheese sauce was served on the side, so the nachos didn't become soggy. The brisket was so tender and had perfect smoke flavor! So as to save room for our entrees, Zeo brought a box to store our leftovers. My son had the Dry Rub burger and added bacon to it - he said it was outstanding and cooked perfect to his liking! His truffle parmesan fries were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and had just the right amount of truffle parmesan flavor that did not overwhelm the fry! Fantastic! I had The Cue Salad with grilled chicken - the salad was LOADED with cucumbers, chick peas, olives, roasted poblano peppers and tender, chicken! Amazing! Their food, service and ambiance are definitely recommended! Their menu has a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, burgers, sandwiches, salads and kids menu. You can also order family portions of different selections of their smoked offerings and sides - with flights of their variety of sauces. Come try this gem located on Pembroke Rd, Danbury!

We were a party of 6 plus 4 kids on a Saturday for an 8 PM reservation. It was incredibly packed when we got there (which I didn’t mind because that meant they had great food). We were seated within 15-20 minutes. The French onion soup was AMAZING! I’m going back JUST for that. It had a smoked flavor and the smoked melted cheese hit just right. My husband got the chicken and waffles which was topped off with their freshly made chips (THE CHIPS WERE AMAZING) with a side of smoked maple syrup, if I could order the chips to go, I would. I ordered the brisket, cheddar, and caramelized onion sandwich with fries which was amazing. I would 10 out of 10 recommend. Oh and their 32 fresh strawberry lemonade, ??. So glad we have this restaurant in the center of town!!!Kid-friendliness: Kids were able to dance to the music and have a good time.

*recently visited the new Milford location but cannot find yelp page* My boyfriend and I have been raving about their pork belly and truffle Mac and cheese. It's so good! The pork belly has a perfect crunch on top and juicy everything else. We loved the array of dipping sauces and enjoyed the brisket and ribs too. We sat at the bar because it was busy but we had an awesome bartender Jake who took care of us and made some great drinks. I ordered the espresso martini and a lemon drip martini. If you're in the area, give the new location on Bank Street a try because the food and service were great!

Me and my wife went to the new location in New Milford, as expected they are still working out the kinks with the staff as any new place would be. The decor was uncluttered and unassuming , it could use a little more BBQ flare . The food was excellent as expected the pulled pork sandwich was flavorful and the slaw was crunchy, fresh and tangy just how I like it. The bartender Jake brought us over some different sauces to try and they were all flavorful and authentic. He was on top of his game and several times pick up the slack for the wait staff. Fries were rough cut and salted perfectly . My wife had a grilled chicken wrap with avocado which tasted delicious . We washed it down with a glass of bourbon . It’s a nice addition in a wonderful classic New England town .. we will go back often.Parking: Good parking in the train station lot across the street.

Called in an order of brisket nachos to go. When I walked in, they were slammed, but I will say their operation ran like a clock! Smiles everywhere.. In less than 60 seconds I had paid for my bill and had food in hand. But this review is more about the way they care for the quality of their food. The nacho order had everything separate and we built them at home.So simple and so clever.Tortilla chips were hot. Every chip was crunchy, not soggy from being made 20 mins earlier.Stop on your way home for an order. Get the brisket too. No one will be mad you brought brisket nachos home.

I went to The Cue in New Milford and sat at the bar tonight. The bartender was so attentive and friendly. She was refreshing as it’s important to have a good staff for restaurants to be welcoming. That’s hard to find sometimes. Her company and service was enough to convince me to come back. The food was amazing, I had the brisket. The other staff was very nice too. I’m glad the Cue is a new addition to downtown New Milford.

Great atmosphere and great food. My family of four have eaten here at least a 2 dozen times, including take out, brunch, and several parties. Unfortunately, the lack of attentiveness that was displayed toward customers (not just me) tonight was truly disappointing.
