First off Great Location came in with a few friends for a little celebration. Decided to sit at the bar was greeted by this beautiful angelic woman who was very welcoming patient with my group while we were taking a long time deciding our drinks and then main course. I believe her name was Delphine. She even pointed / suggested out some top sellers from the menu that myself I'll definitely will be back for because them dishes were amazing. From the pizza to the mozzarella sticks fried calamari. The Lobster Fettuccine , I almost ordered another to go it was that good . Asking to refill our drinks in a timely fashion. Service like that will always get you a great tip from me. My only complaint would be the Shrimp Cocktail either was over cooked or Frozen Shrimp, just not my Fancy. But everything else we had as a Collective. 4 outta 5 stars for food . And 5 stars for how our service the bartender took care of my group. Will be back this weekend

Every time I come to this establishment I'm quickly greeted by the friendly hostess. Food and drink service is prompt and precise. The meals never cease to amaze. This salmon was cooked to perfection. Nice crisp exterior with a silky smooth interior. Food came out nice and hot. Perfect portions for my current diet. Love the consistency and good vibes.

The best restaurant in Darien ! Rose the Manager came from Lugano in Greenwich and has made Molto a destination that can not be missed. The food is fantastic and Rose manages operations efficiently! 5 stars !! Don

First time good try. I did not like the fresh mozzarella much it lacks flavor and is better off in a mozzarella stick layout like most pizza places. The pasta really rubbed the spot , you can taste how fresh and service seemed like they know what they are doing

Food was excellentOur server was GREAT Adriano sp?It was the LOUDEST restaurant I've ever been to and not loud in a rowdy fun way... echoed and clanking and had to yell at dinner the whole night! Made a lovely dinner not enjoyable and could not go back at dinner time! Lunch was quieter however.

The food was not good. Overcooked pasta and tough, chewy meat. It is EXTREMELY loud inside; you can barely hear the person a foot away from you talking. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Gave it 3 chances...3 strikes, you're unfortunately out, Molto.

Great branzino at prix five Lu nch. Covered in a tomato and olive sauce and plenty of potatoes. Extremely well priced especially as a glass of wine is included. The mediocre star account is because of the appetizer. Fig and goat cheese bruschetta topped with ....strawberry jam. Yuck.

Food was average, nothing that would blow your mind, in the service there is definitely a lot of room for improvements, dessert ( Tiramisu)took forever to get it, the presentation was horrible. I’ll give them another try in like 6 months.

AS A LOCAL RESTAURANT ENTREPRENEUR MY WIFE AND I THINK THIS PLACE IS A GREAT ADDITION TO DARIEN IVE TRIED MANY DISHES FROM HERE AND ARE ALL SUPERB SO FAR IF YOU LIKE A BUSY ATMOSPHERE WITH GOOD VIBES THIS IS THE PLACE! BY THE WAY THE DRINKS ARE SPOT ON ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The only reasons I feel compelled to give this restaurant 2 stars are the service and food. The greeting I received when I walked into Molto was friendly and I immediately felt very welcome. The decor is superb. I ordered the short rib entree which was absolutely delicious. Portions are generous so I was able to take half of my dinner home. Now on to the noise level. It's nearly impossible to hear the server let alone one's dinner companions. I've been in noisy restaurants before but this takes noise to a new level. It was so bad that our server apologized without our saying anything. I asked if management was thinking of doing something about it and he said they're trying but it's very expensive. This should have been thought about before the restaurant opened. It's a completely new space and Molto is the first occupant. Their Fairfield location is just as noisy. I would never have gone to the Darien location but my son made the reservation. Good as the food, service and decor may be, I'll never go back nor would I recommend this restaurant. Sorry...the only way I would consider another visit is if noise abatement is addressed.

I like the food but I would not come here again. Looking at the menu and prices I would have expected a much different vibe. It gave off cafeteria vibes to me. It was so loud and not because of music but I think poor acoustic design. Cheap tables and chairs - all night one of our two tables pushed together had a short leg and it bothered one of our guests all night. Where we seated felt like the middle of the floor as people bumped into my chair as they passed by all night. The wait staff service level is very mid in terms of delivery and presentation where it seems like it's a restaurant filled with busboys masquerading as servers only focused on clearing plates but not also cleaning up the table. No personality or presentation to indicate they were trained as servers. Finally, there were SO many children. Why so many children with this menu? . I was there with work collegaues for dinner but I regret the choice even though the actual food is good and above average. The menu and prices do not align with the overall ambiance unfortunately which is the reason I will not return. I would order to-go though to avoid this. A place like this, I think should put more effort to experience especially given its location. Overall, not impressed.
