“I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are fantastic and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. always when we go to this place we pass a delightful time. I recommend this place with pleasure.“
“A great friendly relaxed comfortable, well-kept clean place with some nice style and charm to it, with all the menu of DD. Very pleasant welcoming service from the staff. It's a place you can go in, feel relaxed and comfortable in a place that has some nice style to it, and leave feeling refreshed and better“
“Very nice staff, coffee bar with tasty selection of pastries. Would be a nice spot to walk to and have a cappuccino while reading or journaling. (good playlist on the internet radio too.) (they also have hot cocoa for the non-coffee drinkers)“
“I stopped off here after visiting Hubbard Park. As much as I enjoyed the park, this might have been the true highlight of my stop in Meriden. My test of an Italian bakery is the quality of its cannoli. Theirs is hands down the best I've ever had. The pastry shell is light, crisp, and flavorful and perfectly supports the filling, which is rich but not too sweet -- combined, they make for a true masterpiece. I took a box of other pastries recommended by Irene, who owns the bakery along with her husband. They've been in business for 38 years. I'm going to make it a point to visit whenever I drive up that way. It's that good.“
“I was pleasantly surprised to find such a spot for light snacking and entertainment on the Middletown strip. I believe Back Again Cafe proves itself to be a great central hub location to meet friends, dates, and family for great snacks, drinks, and games! My friends and I like to meet to play MTG. Friendly and helpful staff, and a terrific space with high ceilings and large windows for people watching.“
“I luuuuvvvv this place. They have monthly specials (check their instagram) that are illustrated on a chalkboard near the counter. Their service is fast and you can order ahead on their website if you're in a hurry. However I recommend hanging out to absorb the vibes. I love all the paintings on the wall and the secret-eyeball-tree sculpture reminds me of something out of Meowolf. Plus the baristas are friendly and always ready to recommend a drink or new flavor in stock. It's also the only coffee shop whose merch I constantly drool over, just so fun and tongue in cheek. Try the matcha, you won't be sorry!“
“I ordered a 6in cake from Sweet Harmony for my son's first birthday. We went with the fresh fruit/whipped cream cake and it was absolutely delicious--pillowy soft sponge, yummy berries and light frosting. The whole thing was beautifully decorated and customised to our theme. Will definitely be ordering again from Sweet Harmony. Thank you, ladies!“
“Warm & Inviting atmosphere. I have been here(with friends) several times already, and plan on returning. Staff are hard working, and the owner Amanda is “Down to earth” …and also passionate about her business. Very personable to all of her customers. I have had the the medium (and dark roast)coffee….and enjoy both.“
“If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would! I've been here many times and it's unbelievable but we hosted a bridal shower there today and it was beyond fabulous!!! From the super amazing staff, to the delicious food and the beautiful decor it was definitely a day to remember!“
“A number of people have raved about Mitchell's on Main. I have eaten at a Mitchell's before, but not this one. I have also eaten in the building housing this Mitchell's when it was a different breakfast place. Mitchell's is not fancy and offers reasonably priced breakfast options. We had a short wait for a table for 5 people on a Saturday morning. They managed the line well and service was pretty efficient once we were seated. I ordered a Sausage Egg & Cheese on an everything bagel. It was decent. The sausage was in link form, which is not ideal for a bagel sandwich. The cheese could have been a bit more melted. Nothing really stood out positive or negative otherwise. I also ordered a side of corn beef hash. It was a fairly standard version. It didn't pop for me, but it was fine. My son ordered a chili omelette with cheese and some veggies. He was thrilled with it. I had a couple bites and it was definitely the best thing I tasted that morning. The chili was sweet. Mitchell's is a fair breakfast spot, and when you factor in price, it certainly could be an appealing option for some people. I prefer other breakfast options within my driving radius. 3.5 Stars“
“Amazing coffee options, great vibe, many milk options(and in general, very accommodating to dietary restrictions). Only knocking a star off because the worker was not very informative and it looked like I was bothering him just by being there. Not too welcoming but I am sure thats not a good representation of their service. Will be back! Loved the Cloud 9 and some other coffee drink. Dream something. Soo good.Dietary restrictions: Great milk alternatives“
“Had a great cup of coffee and a chocolate chip scone, something I was dreaming of all week to try at Perk. It was perfect! The scone was fresh and absolutely delicious! The atmosphere there was cozy but roomy and had a great vibe to it - Will definitely visit “

“We got a couple smoothies which were good and made with boxed mango concentrate and ice. It was a good value for the serving size. It had an old school convenience store vibe to it with really nice owners. However, the kitchen area was a little disorganized/messy and they were eating their lunch in the food prep area.“
“Last week was my first time at Loose Leaf in Wallingford and I had a few questions about the drinks, etc. i spoke with a worker named Lydia, she was so helpful answering all my questions, super friendly and in general just very nice and welcoming, she really made the experience. The tea was good too!“
“Story & Soil Coffee Shop is located inside the Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore. It's good to know that there are other bookstore and coffee shop partners other than Barnes & Noble and Starbucks. This is an independent bookstore and coffee shop. Right when you walk inside, you'll notice the coffee shop. They have places where you can sit throughout the store. I'll be reviewing the bookstore separately another time. There was an ad for the pistachio latte, with orange blossom cold foam. That had to be what I was getting. This was an expensive latte, it was $7.00 for a small. This was a special treat type of a latte for sure. The pistachio flavor in this latte was better than some pistachio ice creams I've had. Then the orange blossom on top, the combo of the two flavors was a bit too sweet for me. It felt like I was having ice cream rather than coffee. This was very tasty! At Story & Soil they use Giv coffee beans, the best in Connecticut. So you know they're going to craft a great coffee.“
“Brewed Awakening is such a cute coffee and breakfast spot! It's the perfect little distance/detour on the way down to Rocky Neck beach! The kind person who runs it was super patient when we were deciding what to order, and seems to know some of the locals (and what they'll enjoy) pretty well! My friend loved her maple flavored coffee, the breakfast sandwich she ordered, and I can attest that the muffins were great! Not to mention, the name of the shop is AWESOME! ?? Thanks Brewed Awakening!“
“This was hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. My special guy's father is friend's with the owner & we brought family visiting from Italy for dinner. This was my first time trying the food, everything was delicious, portions huge. You can order larger, family style meals several days in advance & it's BYOB (love it). I was very surprised by everything as the outside along with the name of the restaurant doesn't remotely sound like an Italian restaurant. I would definitely take the ride just to eat here again.“
“They have sour cream donuts! My wife loves them. I'm a fan of their frosted donuts and their iced coffee. They use frozen coffee instead of regular water ice cubes. Super delicious and nicely cafinated. The folks who work there are always friendly.“
“When I come here on some mornings the lady who does the drive through mostly through the week is so pleasant and polite. I had a terrible morning this morning and just her being so positive and kind is uplifting. She takes pride in what she does and dunkin should feel lucky to have her.“
“I'm a bit biased about, "Dunkies" as I grew up on D&D. Yes I spent a good part of my life (nearly 20 yrs) in Seattle (which outside of Starbucks many places 'do' out~do Dunkin')...BuTT, My recent visit to the East coast (Connecticut) reminded me how MUCH better Dunkies is than The 'Buck...GOTTA HAVE MY DUNKIES!!!;~)“
“Stopped by today to grab a bite to eat around 100pm drive thru was active inside wasn't busy shift employee switched over and we had Pedro. He was very nice, friendly attitude and great customer service. The ambiance was very clean inside and out. He did not rush us and he made my pumpkin signature latte very well. We had an order that we needed to confirm and he was also patient with that as well. I want to say KUDOS to Pedro keep that same energy and to your boss you need more employees like Pedro great people person for your establishment. I would recommend this location. Thank you Pedro!“
“Why go to Starbucks when for almost the same price you get coffee from a local business and they include protein powder to help keep you full and energized. The caramel is my favorite. Make sure to see Emma. Always there with a smile and ready to help.“
“I dont usually go to dunkin ever since batista took it over but I went today orderd 3 plain bagels with cream cheese and I had to look to see if they even put cream cheese on it was such a small amount then we felt rushed like they had something better to do or to “
“I stumbled upon pedals at a farmer's market. I really enjoyed the juice, but had completely forgotten about them having store fronts until I dug out the bottle to figure out how to get more juice! I found the location in Durham to visit. I love the sweet green juice, and tried to the apple juice the other day. They're a bit pricey, but delicious. The smoothies were also great! Service is friendly, location is light and bright. Great place to sit and d enjoy and smoothie, bowl, or juice.“
