Service was not very good - we kept in mind they were short of help. Spinach sausage potato pizza was not was it use to be. Something was definitely missing. Good regular pizza will only be going back for take out. Maybe!

I went here with my family to celebrate Mother's Day. The food was so good. Best Italian food I've had in awhile. Krista is an amazing waitress too. Would definitely come here again.

Stopped in randomly after craving pizza. I was honestly pretty surprised it got low reviews! We were greeted and sat immediately. Someone came over for drinks and menus within a few minutes of sitting. We ordered the boneless wings and a pizza. The wings were kind of jenky. They were like chicken strips, but fried in oil but weren't battered? It was a little weird but they weren't bad. The pizza made up for it though. We ordered the Gino's special. The meat and veggies were underneath layers of melted stretchy mozzarella. The crust was amazing, it was soft and still crunchy but not overly crunchy where it rips your mouth up. The flavors on this pizza were fantastic too. Zero complaints. My family likes dominos ( I do not) and this place was a place that everyone loved thier food. Great stuff!

The pizza was really good. I sat outside and the young waitress was more than nice. BUT, the music outside was too loud their were too many mosqitos? The customers outside a young girl with older man wanted the whole place to themselves and she kept giving me dirty looks? Then when I was in bathroom the woman owner was Banging at bathroom door. She said I pulled a chord for assistance, I did not do that???? Get the Food to GO!!!!

This may look like a very small family pizza place... and it is! It also happens to make delicious normal thickness pizza smothered with toppings that my husband can probably polish off in one meal. Their pastas (esp penne gino's and shrimp scampi) have fresh ingredients. My toddler loves their soups and pastas. We go here every week after her dance class next door and it has become our weekly routine.

When we got the pizza it was cold, barely any toppings, bland and just wasn't that great. Wouldn't recommend.

Very disappointed with our take out order tonight. Hawaiian Pizza dough was still raw. Dough was not cooked. Gino’s special was so loaded with grease it was almost not edible and it also was under cooked. Pizzas were cold and not even cut into pieces. Had to use my pizza cutter to cut all 3 pizzas.

Another date night in the books, another pizza place to try. There was a small pizza place here before, think it was porcinnos? Either way, new sign so had to give them another go. The place was reasonably busy. TONS of delivery drivers all waiting to pick up pizza. Guess they were having a sale? Don't know, but had to give them a shot. The place had plenty of booth for seating, but weirdly not enough staff. They actually had signs up stating they didn't have enough employees for demand. It did take us a while to get seated and get orders in, also a while for food to get to us. The server did eventually get to us and was helpful and accommodating. She just started her shift and was already in the weeds. So not a lot of good signs, figuratively and literally. Order the shrimp crustini and a side of meatballs. Also opted for the gino special pizza as well, since it had their name on it. The weakest item was the crustini. Bread was heavily oiled, and not a lot of topping on it to counter balance the oil. Not a fan, but was okay. The meatballs were surprisingly good. Pork meatballs with a good crust and seasoning. Not overly smothered in cheese and cooked perfectly. They do a good meatball. The gino special was a good pizza, but not what I expected. It's kind of rare to find a pan pizza in ct, and this is a cheese on top of toppings thicker crust pan pizza. The meats are plentiful, the crust crisp and bread, plenty of cheese and a solid sauce. It's good, but the server didn't explain their pizza style well. So many places do pizza new haven style, so when you get a pan pizza it's a bit of a shock. A happy surprise, but a surprise none the less. Their biggest problem is their staffing issues. They put it a quality product but they need bodies to help put out pizzas at a faster speed but same quality. Until they do so, the delays will always be their biggest hindrance. Also explaining to the servers that they do pan pizzas would help. It's a pretty good pizza, but they have growing pains. Worth a shot if you are willing to wait
