Stopped in after work at 5AM and Jesus Christ am I glad I did I love how it’s in original form cash only flavorful food. What I admire most about this place were the mixed match coffee cups ?? ABSOLUTELY LOVED THAT when you come get the corn beef hash with over easy TRUST ME!!!!!

Very cozy feel as you walk in. Wait staff wasn't very welcoming pancakes were a little underdone but I like them like that. I asked for everything well done such as eggs and hashbrowns and they weren't well done at all. Eggs were runny. Won't be returning

Meh… Maddie’s was so-so. The toast was over cooked. The toast, home fries, and over-easy eggs were all overcooked. The eggs weren’t runny at all. The french toast was good though. The service was good, but not great. I didn’t get correct change when paying the bill… maybe by mere pennies, but for a place that doesn’t accept credit cards, they should give EXACT change. Overall, I would not return. It wasn’t bad, but there’s better places.

We were traveling through Hartford and wanted a non chain breakfast. Maddie's is as close to locals, family restaurant that you can get. As soon as you walk in your greeted hello. The staff seemed to know everyone by their name. The coffee was good. The egg dish and breakfast special were terrific. We weren't rushed and as we were leaving we were made to feel like we had been going there for years. If we're in the area again we'll stop by again.

Low-key, small town atmosphere. Servers are always pleasant. I bring the family once a month.

The only thing I didn't like about this place was that they took orders for people that were seated after us before they took ours, of course that could have been my grumpy husband's fault, lol. Other than that I liked the food. The waitress was nice, and she tried to engage my husband in conversation, she talked to all the customers, not just her tables, and the place was packed for Saturday breakfast. My husband thinks it was only packed because there's a hotel close by, but I noticed that some of the waitresses called some of the patrons by name so you can tell there are regulars that come here. Breakfast for two people was only $25 and I can't recall the last time I paid that price for a meal for two. I would return, hubby says he would not. He had the Italian sausages, over easy eggs, hash browns, toast, and coffee. I had french toast, bacon, eggs, orange juice and coffee.
