Had tried 5 other Pho places around Hartford in the last 3 months without any doubt Pho 99 is the best, and that's even with a fancy one in downtown West Hartford. Staff is friendly and the food is super fresh. The chicken actually tastes like chicken. Well worth the drive for us.

Been going here for years now, pretty much since it opened. Their spicy pho is the best pho in East Hartford, or even in the whole Hartford Region. Great food, good service, and a good setting. Better than pho 501 lol

overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. But Pho tastes so good, their other signature bowl could be Bun Bo Hue and fresh fruit smoothie.

Never come here if you've had authentic Vietnamese food before. The bun bo hue, while spicy, is bland. The pork chop with rice is mostly bone. It is also one of the most expensive Vietnamese places we've been to - the pork chop with rice is over $20! Nothing about this meal was worth the price they're charging. We still tipped generously given the pandemic and the lady serving us was great (though a little pushy in sales), but unless you have a real bad craving and nowhere's open, this is not where you want to try Vietnamese.

Never paid $5 for bowl of rice Food is so so but rate are super high for such location and interior. Next time will pass it and find something better. Bad experience overall

Easily the BEST pho in CT or anywhere. 'NuAuthentic and so flavorful. To top it off the owners are amazingly nice. We love this place. The broth could stand alone just I. Terms of its flavor. Add in the need or chicken and it's amazing. The price point is fair. You can taste the "home made" aspect of the pho. Just basic food that's made with care and love. So good.
What a great little place. It does not look like much from the outside but the Pho is great. I had the spicy chicken pho. It was very delicious. The portions were large. The best part was it was BYOB.
