I ordered a trio and found a hair in the ceviche. When I asked for an explanation they only responded: "We find it strange that you found a hair, no one has that type of hair in the kitchen" obviously I no longer wanted the ceviche and they gave me a complimentary huancaina potato. But before the courtesy they should offer an apology for not taking care of the hygiene of the food.

Be careful with the emollient they sell there. Today my wife found a mosquito inside the bottle, she poured it into a glass and gave it to the owner so they could replace her bottle.Cleanliness should be a priority in a food establishment.

Today I went to lunch with my two-year-old daughter, but since I know that the restaurant only has one children's high chair, I called to reserve a table and the children's high chair. The hostess confirmed that she would be available for my daughter until I arrived ("I reserve the chair"), I arrived and the chair was occupied. The owner just told me she was sorry and offered me a black chair without safety cords. Fortunately, the chair I reserved became vacant. And my daughter was able to have lunch. I am Peruvian and it makes me very sad to go to a Peruvian food place, run by a compatriot and be served in that way, that place does not have protocols for hot food. If you have children, I do not recommend going to this place.

It was my favorite restaurant in Connecticut, until 3 months ago.Today, March 11, 2024, I leave with anger, sadness and disappointment. These two dishes that you see on the screen are my husband's and mine's favorite dishes. The current chef of this restaurant killed these delicious plates of food.I ordered a marine trio and they gave me the super spicy ceviche, the onion was not well washed, the rice with seafood, it has no flavor, I think the rings are octopus, the truth is I don't know what it's called but it was raw, I couldn't Eat it, the cassava is a little hard.EL MoSTRITO in the same way, the rice without flavor, the chicken too fried, only the fried potato could be eaten. Unfortunately and a shame... I leave with sadness. I hope the owners notice and pay more attention to what their chefs are cooking.I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED ???

The food was great, and ample portions and the price was very low for that quality of food. The place was quiet and very clean , staff was friendly and very helpful in helping me order.

I ordered a poor-quality steak and they gave me fried meat. They fed me that and for a change, without any cutlery, I'm paying. I didn't say they'd give me something for free. I just tried it and I didn't like it.

Food was ok, waitress did not want to separate the bill. Which is odd since they have a clover machine which I KNOW could be split. Anyway what surprise me the most is that they charged $2.70 for WATER! Yup I can definitely find other Peruvian Restaurants that have better food, better prices and one that does not charge for cup of water.

I've been coming to this restaurant a few times out of the week. I've been patient with them every time they get my order wrong. the food is great but pricy! this morning I ordered the same thing I've been ordering 3 mornings in a row, which was 2 fried eggs, bacon & buttered roll on the side (as a platter) and a cup of coffee, all to go. The waitress gave me my order as a sandwich with lettuce, cheese & tomatoes, which I did not order. I simply asked her to tell the chef I wanted everything separated without the lettuce, tomatoes & cheese. She rolled her eyes and asked me my order again. in which I've explained, I want 1 fried eggs, bacon and tosted roll with butter on the side. She stomped to the back with the wrong order and came back not even a minute later and said "ok, no lettuce no cheese and handed me the bag again. I opened the bag again to make sure they got my order right this time but I seen that nothing changed, needless to say it was still a sandwich with lettuce, cheese n tomatoes. So I said to the waitress nothing was changed. She said sorry and shrugged her shoulders. I asked for a manager and again she rolled her eyes and advised me that the manager is far far away. I then advised her that I do not want the food clearly because it's not what I ordered. she again shrugged her shoulders and did not give me my money back! Poor service! Specially I have been coming to this restaurant almost everyday for breakfast and lunch, spending over $50 each day. This is no way to treat a paying customer that have been patient over and over every time they get my order wrong. I refused to take a wrong order ones and I get this treatment.
