This was a perfect place to satisfy our BBQ craving during the wintertime! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with the smell of their delicious cooking. We were really big fans of their ribs, pulled pork Mac, and steak and cheese eggrolls. They've been making the same homemade recipes for 30+ years and I hope they never change a thing! What an East Haven gem. Even the cheesecake was homemade and so fluffy. All of the staff we met were incredibly welcoming and nice to talk to. We'll be back!!

The last time I ate at this place was 10+ years ago. I had nachos that were so loaded and delicious that they have lived in my memory as a place I need to go back to someday. And they had these huge racks to smoke the ribs. It was a serious operation.So tonight I finally returned, to introduce my barbecue-loving husband to the joint. Well, I am sad to say that the smoking racks are long gone. They’re in a new location (new to me; they’ve been there for 7 years apparently) now. It is brighter, newer, and cleaner than I remember it from before. The service was super friendly and just great. But unfortunately the ribs were nothing special. And MOST UNFORTUNATELY, the nachos were totally unremarkable.At least now that nagging voice telling me I need to go back there for the amazing nachos has been silenced forever. Those nachos are just a memory that will not be resurrected at the Rib House.

A bit sparse on decor, but the chicken and ribs were a strong 5/5. Sides were solid as was the pulled pork sandwich. Reasonably priced BBQ and good service. I would definitely recommend this place. Does not have brisket, but they are a rib place and they do it very well.

My Son and I had a late lunch at the Rib House yesterday and I got to tell you we were pleasantly surprised. Our server "Mary" was great, fast, friendly, and very accommodating. When she saw I didn't like the coffee, she brought me an expresso.. no charge for the coffee The corn bread is the best I've ever had. The ribs and my philly steak were great also. By the way I've had the "Philly" in Philly at the famous places here is better! No fancy décor it was all about the food and the people.. That's what we loved! Vinny A.

Not only is the food fantastic the workers there are very helpful.A friendly place to sit and enjoy your favorite drink while waiting for your oder.I have meant some really good people at bar while waiting for my order ,it's a small bar which is ok so you get to meet new people. Wish they offer music in the dining room for a more a social atmosphere on the weekends.But all and all the food is fantastic. You have to try it.
Excellent service, big portions and good food at reasonable prices. Krissy was friendly, accommodating and goes out of her way even when there's no complaints. The other wait staff check on you too.

Rib House has always been a go-to spot for my family and I. Not only is the food exceptional, but the service is too! A baked potato and ribs is a family favorite, although a pulled pork sandwich has my heart- nothing disappoints. If we aren’t dining in, we are taking out. You must check out when in town!!
