“Absolutely bombb burgers with that tried & true authentic American taste. Quality materials/ingredients, cooked fresh on-spot upon ordering. Solid fries & shakes as well! - The only thing that would be awesome is if they slightly warmed by toasting/grilling their buns just briefly.. to get a very light crisp bite to them and full & through warm mouthfeel to pair with the burger.“

“A good quick service burger place. Staff have always been friendly and the food is good. Despite being near the mall, I never found it to be too crowded or have a bad experience stopping in.Feel it's pretty on point for a standard Five Guys. Would recommend it if in the area.“

Bobby Ts hotdogs American • $
646 Main St, Manchester

“Bobby's back! After a hiatus of much too long, the best hot dogs have returned. I'm a self-professed hot dog snob and Bobby has the best natural casing dogs, fresh potato rolls, and toppings including his amazing hot pepper relish. It has great flavor and just enough heat without being fatal to the taste buds. Bobby also offers kielbasa and other specials, sodas, chips, etc. at very reasonable prices. If you're looking for a really good dog in Manchester, this is the place to find it and sit in the shade of Center Park on your lunch hour.“

Whoop Dee Do Hot Dogs Hot Dogs •
7 Hall Hill Rd, Somers

“Stopped here a few days ago with friend, Demanding Dan, who read about it in the Journal Inquirer. I'll call it a Pop Op, as the proprietor, Norm, seems to be retired, and getting a little long in the tooth. He's open from 11AM until 2ish, even in the winter if the temp is at least 40. The operation is under a tent in front of Norm's home. The dogs are Kayem which, incidentally, are served at Fenway. Norm's prices are a whole lot lower than those at Fenway Paak, though. He grills them, and also grills the Freihofer buns. Numerous choices for sides. I had a chili dog, and two w sauerkraut. DD had a chili dog and a cheeseburger. The beanless chili is homemade, and very good. The menu is eclectic.... whoever heard of a hd smothered w Reese's Peanut Butter? Next time. DD and I agreed we are both fans. Two things...cash only and don't be in a rush. He gets numerous regulars and is a solo act. If you like s good dog, definitely stop by.“

Mark Anthony's Burgers •
1442 Albany Ave, Hartford

“Whether you choose to dine in the restaurant or on the beach, Mark Anthony's rarely disappoints. It seems any time we go to Onset Beach we grab one of their Italian-style pies. When you walk into this eclectic and energetic space you can't help but notice the pizza chefs as they are prominently stationed near the front window. I think watching them knead and shape the dough as you order adds to the appreciation of your first bite into the crispy and chewy crust. The only time I had a bad experience at Mark Anthony's is when my teenage son wrapped his $700 retainer in a napkin so he could eat and I mistakenly threw it away thinking it was trash. Twenty minutes later we returned to the restaurant. This time my takeout included three garbage bags of trash that I brought home and searched. I never found his retainer, but I did learn that people love to put ketchup on everything.“
