“Celebrated my mom’s birthday yesterday. She wanted a cannoli cake. We were celebrating her birthday in Agawam and was told about Goivanni’s. We live in central CT and were driving up. I ordered the cake on Friday with the assist of Anna. We were running late so I asked a local family member to pick it up for us. The cake was outstanding and next time we are in town we will stop by and explore other yummy goodies that they have to offer.“
“I've been going to La Fiorentina Pastry shop for 15 years now. It's a staple of the Italian section of the south end of Springfield. They have the BEST desserts and cakes in Western Mass. I would highly recommend their cannoli cakes if you are looking to branch off from basic chocolate, vanilla, and marble cakes. Great service and great food!“

“Customer service is very friendly. I purchased a birthday cake and was also able to pick it up early. My only concern is that O had to carry the cake out in the open which made me very nervous because I did not want anything to fall on the cake or have it out in the open air, but there weren't any bigger cake boxes available and no cover for the cake so the frosting would not be ruined. I've never heard of this before, but I rushed the cake home to the fridge nervous as heck. Cake came out beautiful! We are very pleased with the details and smoothness. We also purchased a peanut butter brownie and raspberry bar. They were both delicious, decadent, and filling. The brownie is very thick; you get a good size and if you can eat the whole brownie in one sitting, kudos to you!“

I ordered a frosted fruit cake and that came out really well. Parking here is terrible, and it's also at a weird intersection (but not the weirdest intersection in East Longmeadow, a town with terrible intersections).“

Veronica and Diane's bakery operates on a "preorder" model, so their cookies, cupcakes, cream puffs, cake pops, scones and cannolis should be preordered by the dozen. Much of their business revolves around absolutely gorgeous made to order customized wedding and special occasion cakes and pies. They have close to thirty different cake flavors across the entire spectrum of yumminess. Here's the scoop on the flavor groups: "Classics" that include Chocolate, Vanilla, Red Velvet, and more. A "Fun & Delicious" line that includes among others Tangy Pink Lemonade, Pineapple Crush, Zesty Limeade, Maple Pancake, and Cinnamon Maple Four "Kids Favorites" of Sweet S'more, Cookie Dough Core, Cotton Candy, and Dreamsicle And some very intriguing booze flavors "For Adults" of Espresso Pubcake (made with Guiness beer), Rum & Coke, Lime Margarita, and Tequila Sunrise. On Friday and Saturday, they may have some cupcakes and cannolis for individual sale, so after a few text messages, I arranged to swing by and get 2 of each. While inside the store, I saw dozens of freshly baked cupcakes awaiting their custom "to order" icings, and two freshly baked stunning special occasion cakes awaiting pickup. We bought two chocolate chip cannolis, a chocolate cupcake, and a vanilla cupcake. We just finished scarfing down the cannolis. They were amazing! The filling wasn't super sweet, the chocolate chips were plentiful, and the shell was crispy and crunchy. A definite A+ of a cannoli. We will exercise some will power and share the cupcakes for tomorrow, but no doubt they will be equally stellar. “If I could give more than 5 stars I would! My boyfriend’s birthday was Easter Sunday, and I had no time to order a special cake for him or bake anything myself. I’ve never been to Cerrato’s before but I’ve heard great things. I took this as an opportunity to go in and see what they had. When I tell you this place is amazing, I mean it! They had so many different options to choose from, but my bf loves chocolate cake so I got the fudge cake. It’s the best cake I’ve ever had in my life. It was rich, moist, chocolately, and made with love. Absolutely delicious. Everyone raved over it. The price was incredible also. Will be coming back for more!“

“I stopped by after work hoping to purchase a Cuban sandwich but it was too late in the day for one. You can pick up a cup of Puerto Rican coffee and/or a few little pastries like coconut macaroons or guava/cheese pastries. However, this is a bakery that you come to for bread. A $2 loaf of homemade bread that will bring your own sandwich at home to a higher level of happiness. There are two types of loaves made here. Try both. Both are yummy. My office often does our own panini parties. We bring in the panini grill and ham and cheese, etc. and buy 6 loaves of bread from Old San Juan Bakery. Bread. Go get it.“
“Cafe kiosk located inside the Big Y Express, but don't let the location fool you. Building is clean and inviting, with plenty of parking. Had a Spiced Brown Sugar Chai and Winter Cranberry Salad which were both off the specials menu, and both were delicious. Salad was a large portion and a nice blend of all ingredients, chai was sweeter than expected but was pleasantly spiced almost like eggnog. Friendly and quick service. As it is primarily a takeout/drive-thru location, be warned there is not much seating.“
“There is plenty of parking in the lot. Most people don't realize, but there's a little banquet room to the left when you first walk in the building where you can host a baby shower or a birthday. If the owner is at the front, she's a little bit brisk but so sweet and helpful and she knows what she's talking about. They offer pizza by the slice and there's always a wide variety, plenty of cookies, cake pops, cakes, pastries and other desserts. They also offer dinners to go buy one, get one.“
