I am currently on Weight Watchers, so I'm always on the lookout for healthy foods that are predominantly plant-protein-based, or seafood items. Whole Foods Market has a terrific variety of vegan salads offered in the Urban Remedy brand. They also have wonderful pre-made meals in their Deli department, such as grilled salmon and Maryland crab cakes. Their prices are somewhat higher than the average supermarket, but their quality makes it so worthwhile -- and best of all, they accept my Amazon Prime card!

I frequent Whole Foods often as it is near my home. I used to buy my fresh ground coffee there every week but over a year ago, their roaster broke and they haven’t gotten it up and operating since. So disappointing.The freshly roasted coffee beans were so much better than the bagged ones they are now dumping into their fresh roast barrels. I discussed it with the coffee dept manager well over a month ago and he told me they had gotten the parts and would resume roasting in about a week but todate, it has not happened.

I recently touted the Danbury store....this one is equally as good. Great selections, high priced, clean, efficient and well-run. One can find all sorts of interesting things here too. Produce is awesome as are their selections of other items (pasta for instance, if you don't mind spending an exorbitant amount for it). The staff here is absolutely amazing. Every single associate was courteous, helpful and accommodating. Try finding that at another store!!! The prepared foods looked amazing. Because I was on the run, I opted for a slice of pizza, which was pretty mediocre at best. But their gelato is good. As always, be prepared to spend some cash, but you'll get great quality items here so check it out!!!

Great coffee. Nice atmosphere. Chairs are a bit too low for the tables, makes typing on a laptop awkward.
I have to turn my vegan down for the pumpkin muffins - real comfort food. But come on guys it's not that hard to substitute eggs in a recipe.
