The service was great and the food was delicious. It was busy and very noisy. We were on the bar side of the restaurant. When I made the reservation I didn't specify seating but I did indicate it was our anniversary. I'm not sure it was the right ambience for our anniversary dinner. We had been there in the past for my birthday it was perfect for our big group.

The food was wonderful!! Great flavor and taste. The only complaint I have is the temperature of the meat. I had the beef Wellington and it was way over cooked. Well done!! It was disappointing. My son had a burger and asked for medium well and it was also cooked well.

An absolutely beautiful meal with several excellent Easter choices. Our server was also warm and knowledgeable. The only thing missing was any sort of decor. On Easter, one would expect a spray of daffodils or tulips to jazz up the spartan space. Otherwise, a wonderful experience.

Brick Walk Tavern is, unquestionably, one of the best restaurants in the area! Every meal here has been great! The menu has some unique and very delicious dishes to try! Service was excellent....attentive, friendly, efficient....without being overbearing! When BWT first opened, the space was very loud and noisy. However, they have since added some acoustical sound absorbing elements to the interior of the space and now the noise level is very moderate and very pleasant. A great meal in a great space....it just doesn't get any better than that!

French onion burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had! The dumplings appetizer was adequate and only 5 small pieces, a weird number for sharing. The beers were generous pints. The website doesn't post that day's dinner menu until 2:30 pm, but the site doesn't tell you that. There were no entrees under $30 and that included pasta dishes so it's on the expensive side.

Every time we go here we have the same experience. The service is great, the atmosphere is prefect for a nice dinner, and the food is delicious. The menu is so creative and offers a terrific variety. I highly recommend it.

Brickwalk Tavern is always a crowd pleaser. It can be difficult to find unique, flavorful dining options, but Brickwalk always hits the mark! One of our go-tos for locals and visiting friends alike!

We went to Brick Walk Tavern with friends twice in the span of a month and both times we were all thrilled with our meals (that's 12 meals in total!) The room in the back is much quieter than the main dining room. I would highly recommend the white bean dip, chili garlic shrimp, Korean crispy cauliflower and the Brussels salad to start and the French onion burger was so amazing I had it both times! Grandma's Sunday Sauce (pasta with a side of meatballs, sausage and braised short ribs in a delicious fresh tomato sauce) crushed it. The fish dishes were all great, as was the mushroom risotto and the Korean ribs. Try to save room for dessert and cappuccinos - the salted caramel apple tart with cinnamon ice cream was perfection (the sticky toffee pudding was a bit too sweet for my taste). The wines were great (my Pinot Grigio was chilled just right!). This is such a great find!

Always amazing. I must admit, we noticed a small change to the Crispy Half Chicken Saltimbocca with Creamy Risotto Sage Prosciutto & Lemon Pan Sauce. Previously it was made with sausage as opposed to prosciutto. Still great, but we might somewhat prefer the old version

Great evening at Brick Walk. This restaurant never disappoints and we enjoy seeing a menu which always has new and creative selections. All 4 dinners were great, as was the service. Highly recommend Brick Walk Tavern.

This has become our special event place. We were seated in the bar which , in hindsight, we should have asked for the dining room and I'm sure they would have been accommodating. So the noise level was a bit high for a birthday dinner. The food was off-the-charts great as usual - gorgonzola salad, wasabi green beans and a cavatelli special that was to die for. The only negative was the espresso martini which was very bitter. Even though I ask for no Bailey's they are usually a little sweet, but the espresso was very strong and it was just that and vodka which I think is the first espresso martini I have had that was actually bitter. Other than that, first rate as usual.

Chef Dave Snyder is a gift to the Fairfield Community! Every time I've eaten at Brick Walk Tavern I have a new experience that is equally amazing or even surpasses the prior experience! Just another great meal with great friends and a special visit from Chef himself!

EXCELLENT food!!!! The seafood risotto, BBQ cauliflower and salmon were outstanding!!! Our waiter was also great! I only wished that they had Riesling. We will definitely go again!

Had an 8:30 Saturday night dinner reservation. The food was good; not great. Was shocked to have our barely over dining experience ruined by an overwhelming scent of ammonia. It was 10:40 and they were sweeping and mopping the floors around us! So low class...were we eating in McDonald's? Our check didn't appear so... Brick Walk Tavern needs to do better. Epic disaster on their part.
