A new spot in Fairfield, Fred's has a great selection of premade meals that you can take home to heat up. Soups, entrees, desserts, etc. I ordered a sandwich which was made quickly and was very tasty. They have a nice catering menu with good variety. Store was extremely clean and homey. Great first impression; I'll be back!

Fred 06825 features gourmet foods to go including dinner entrees, homemade soups, handmade appetizers, salad bar, and chef made desserts. This is my first check in but I have been here many times. I ordered the number 4 from the sandwich menu which is delicious. It's a Panko Crusted Chicken Cutlet with Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato's, and Chipotle Aioli. The chicken is crispy and the bacon on top makes the sandwich so delicious. All the flavors come together which makes it a great sandwich. The customer service is always great and the staff there are always gracious. The store is always very clean and the food always looks fresh.

Five stars at least. Located not far from the Merritt Pkway Black Tpke exit. The most delicious food. They should open a restaurant. Incredible soups and desserts, EVerything to go, like you bring a restaurant home with you. Shepherds Pie, CHicken pot pie, fish dishes galore. Insane meatloaf. Fred and the whole staff are the nicest people in the world. and good cooks!

I’ve driven by forever and finally stopped in. I love this place. Don’t want to cook dinner after work, they have many prepared options available. I’ve had the shepherds pie, chicken pot pie, roast turkey (holiday) and broccoli salad and loved everything.
