During a five-night stay in the area, I ate here three times. It was delicious. I loved the bang-bang shrimp bowl and the shrimp and clam scampi. So good! I also enjoyed the salmon wrap with sweet potato fries, though it wasn't as great as the other dishes. While the food arrived quickly, the wait staff did seem overwhelmed, especially the bar. It took quit awhile to get a cocktail. If I'm in Southport again, I'll definitely eat here again.

First time visit....the food, drinks, and service all amazing. Would love to dine here again....except..the front enclosed patio is unbearably warm. You are sitting by windows while the sun beats down on you, the rays are magnified by large windows with no shades. It is very uncomfortable. And this was in February. That window situation needs to be addressed. And the windows really need to be cleaned as well.

We went to the Gray Goose for a Thursday date night and had a wonderful experience. My date had the pork chop, which is a very traditional, but truly satisfying and well conceived dish. I went with a special blackened swordfish with julienne vegetables and rice, which was extremely good.We also had the clam strip appetizer special which was indeed special.And a shout out to our server Jorge, who is a true professional waiter.We’re going with five stars on this review, considering the restaurant is in Fairfield County. If it was in New York City, it would be my four star local standby that I would frequent often for a variety of occasions.

One of our favorite local restaurants. Food is reliably good, vibe is upscale but relaxed, lots of family. Often see adults with their elderly parents or 3 generation family groups. Maddie the hostess is so great! Highly recommend!
