I've been going to Duchess for over 20 years and have always loved it but these days it's just not the same, at least at this location. Today I ordered 2 hot dogs and fries and I waited for over 20 minutes in the drive through with no explanation, I was the first car in line so it was my order that took that long. The hot dog rolls were spongy and the fries were soft damp and tepid. This is not the first time I've had a problem at this specific restaurant but it is the first time I am reviewing.

Who doesn't love Dutchess for either late night or a quick bite. It's really amazing how much they actually offer you can order basically anything that you want to eat. Well done Dutchess.

It's not that bad considering it's a fast food place. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. I got the Mushroom Swiss burger and I enjoyed it however the fries didn't really have any flavor.

Better burgers than 5 guys (at least in the heyday), this is the first stop when back in CT. And Big D Chicken (fried)? So good. Breakfast was always good, too. Haven't been in 5 years or so, hopefully it hasn't changed.

Better than McDs by a long shot. The crispy chicken sandwich is one of my go to recovery meals after a late night. Chicken nuggets for the kids actually taste like chicken - not as processed as McDs.

Someone needs to teach these workers the difference between a turkey cold cut sandwich and a turkey burger. This is the second time I ordered a turkey burger and got a turkey cold cut sandwich.

Your food was pretty good in a rush. Better than the golden arches across the street. But your inflexibility really pissed me off today with my order. So here it is...if you have a policy of UberEats orders have to be picked up in store, and not drive thru...then SAY SO on the app! It's difficult to come in with a dog and a sleeping toddler. It really pissed me off that your staff cannot conduct this transaction in the drive thru (even though you can if it's 1 hour before closing)...looking at the dog and my infant in the back seat. I realize this may be my overexpecting. But if your drive thru DON'T do UberEats by policy...then post the policy and not waste my time.

FOURTH time in a ROW, ordering 4 MEAL DEALS, VERY SIMPLE, and yet they STILL GOT IT WRONG 4 times in a ROW. They need to teach these melonheads to repeat the order and YOUR ORDER should be posted for the consumer to see. Like LITERALLY, you MORONS, put my order on a screen so I can watch you screw it up and I can correct you AGAIN, BEFORE you put the WRONG order in. WHY IS THIS SO HARD Duchess?? WTF is wrong with you that you CANNOT REPEAT the order back to the customer like even FRICKIN" McDonalds does? What is WRONG with you peope?

This is horrible. What garbage forDuchess. Literally my chili dog may have had a teaspoon of cilili and literally no bacon. I went once a week but no more. Prices are higher but fillings are non existent
I got ecoli food poisoning it’s disgustingly unsanitary . I could taste something funny on my Breakfast sandwich patty. It smelled like fences. I freaked out- brought it back and told them I think this is tainted- and they argued and refused to even smell it or take my report. I ended up on the toilet less than an hour later and in bed with cramps and stomach pains the next 2 days. Horrible people . And I mean it horrible.

i love duchess. everyone leaving bad reviews clearly doesn't understand it's a fast food restraunt. what do you expect, a 5 star gourmet meal?? it's a quick option for when you're hungry. the fries are amazing, though i will agree the sizing is small. the prices are adequate though

Came here on a Thursday morning for brekkie and was surprisingly disappointed. Ordered the scrambled egg platter and was unimpressed. The eggs were extremely thin and bland, the rye toast was lacking any caraway seeds and tasted stale, and the home fries were sticked together as if they were microwaved. I will give this place an extra star for having the Freestyle machines, as my cherry Fanta did taste good through the blandness of everything else. But from my experience, this place is overhyped overall and definitely not worth my time or money.

Do I have Covid?, cause this food has no taste. Gone to $hit after 30+ years eating here and I am done! After eating here consistently for decades it seems cost cutting has gutted Dutchess. Including: 1) Substituting cooking margarine for butter with pancakes 2) Eggs that have no flavor be it on a sandwich or an omelette 3) Bacon so thin you could read through it 4) Fries cooked in old oil... there is the flavor! I guess it comes down to drive through McDonalds for even worst food or go to a local place like Johnny's Restaurant or Hole in the Wall, etc. Get out of the car and get better food. Bye bye Dutchess. They are a mere memory to me now.
