Recently the food quality has gone to shit. Multiple menu items have been changed to cheaper lower quality versions of these items for basically the same price. For example the tangerine chicken has instead of being actual pieces of chicken fried with sauce it's instead became balls of ground of chicken covered in a disgusting syrup. Pretty solid and fresh for Chinese style Takeout, everything arrived warm! Would note as leftovers it wasn’t that great, but they day we ordered it was good which matters more.Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for takeout Chinese.

This place is great. I especially like their shrimp spring rolls and their veggie spring rolls as well. Food isn't too greasy like other Chinese restaurants. Large variety on the menu. Staff is always friendly. I highly recommend!

As a Fairfield resident, I frequent Lilac House at least once a month and find delicious specials which my friends and I enjoy. One thing is the soup is never as hot as I like soup to be. Served lukewarm which is a no no for me. Oveall, I love the restaurant. Lulu
