Went there 8 minutes before closing. Ordered small Columbian with cream. She gave us large. In car realized this must have been sitting there all day. Soooo bitter. Lesson learned. $3 into garbage.

This place was a miss. The latte was horrible and the service was too. The cashier/barista is the same person making the drink and goodness I'm not sure why...she can't even steam milk..and the extraction was burnt...I had high hopes considering how many new locations they have. Wouldn't recommend.

Really yummy chai! Unfortunately they only have one size for it. Would really like to buy a large, but there's only the one size. Hopefully they offer multiple sizes or a larger size in the future because I would love to buy chai from them and not a chain like Starbucks. The interior and exterior ambiance is very nice and aestheticly pleasing.

Far and away the best coffee shop in Fairfield and their beans and espresso drinks are up there with the best in CT. I buy their beans to make French Press at home and the baristas (shout out to Andrea and Yvette) helped me to find a blend that matches the flavor profile I enjoy. I don't find the space very conducive to spending a lot of time there--inside is narrow and very sunny, outside also has basically no shade unless you can grab the one table with an umbrella--but other people seem to linger and work. Plenty of parking and a couple of cute shops and excellent restaurants nearby. Also nice that it is a little removed from the most congested areas of downtown Fairfield.

This was my first time in Shearwater Coffee. The location is in the back of a small shopping plaza. The owners of the plaza should do them a solid and put a sign on each side of the parking lot so customers know where to go.Nice large location. I was in on a work day so there was not much options for peoplewatching. When I entered there were two young ladies working. I saw a menu on the wall ofthe coffee options. I saw a barcode but did not bother scanning it because I was unsure if there was any additional options.There were no other customers at this point but the young lady taking my order did not seem to have any interest as to whether I had been in before.Because I did not know if there were any iced speciality coffee options I went with a large iced mocha.My iced mocha was very good with more than enough chocolate syrup used. Next time Im in Fairfield I would go again.

Air conditioned, very laptop-friendly cafe. Workers are polite and play great music. High-quality cold brew, I also recommend ordering a decaf iced Americano if you're looking for an iced decaf coffee. Bagels are delicious, I also recommend the blueberry lemon scone. I have spent hours at a time here and no one minds. This local business deserves your patronage!!Vegetarian options: Avocado toast and bagels with different toppings are both available. Avocado toast runs out fast so come early if you're vegan.Wheelchair accessibility: Doors are not automated but workers can see you clearly through the glass, there is a ramp

Amazing coffee! Friendly staff!Since my visit to Shearwater. I've tried every espresso roast in America. Nothing in my humble opinion comes close to Shearwater's Dark Golden Crema Espresso blend. Please don't ever stop making it! I purchase the whole beans.6/17/23Still the best espresso coffee in the land! So very consistent!
