Last night, I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Taste Of Everest, a hidden treasure located in Fairfield. It was a truly delightful experience. We started off with the chilly chicken, which was a delicious explosion of Indian spices. I paired it with sweet lassi, which was mouth-watering. My friend ordered chicken jhol momos as an appetizer which was drowned in sauce. For main course we had paneer tikka masala (so yummy) and lamb dum biryani. The delicious lamb, cooked to perfection, was particularly noteworthy. We finished the night by sharing a gajar ka halwa and rasmalai. Overall, Taste Of Everest exceeded my expectations in every way. The delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and impeccable service combined to create a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special night out.Vegetarian options: The paneer cooked to a perfection and scrumptious ?

Taste of Everest is a hidden gem in Fairfield, offering a delicious and affordable exploration of Nepalese and Indian cuisine. Whether you're a seasoned spice enthusiast or a curious newcomer, this restaurant is sure to take your taste buds on a satisfying journey. Their signature momos, Nepalese steamed dumplings, are a must-try. Filled with succulent chicken or a flavourful mix of vegetables, these bite-sized delights come with a delicious dipping sauce that tingles with the unique spice of Timur pepper. For those seeking classic Indian fare, the chicken makhani (butter chicken) is a hearty and satisfying option. The dish is a perfect balance of creaminess and warmth. Vegetarians and vegans are well-represented on the menu too, with a wide variety of curries and lentil dishes bursting with colour and flavour. One of the highlights of Taste of Everest is the friendly and attentive service. The staff is happy to guide you through the menu and explain the nuances of each dish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner.Vegetarian options: A wide variety of dishes right from starters till main course every dish is covered here.

Taste of Everest's takeaway experience was a culinary delight. We relished the crispy Chicken Kurkure and savored the refreshing Mango Lassi. The Chicken and Mutton Biryani were fragrant masterpieces, while the starters showcased culinary expertise. With impeccable service and flavors that transport you back to India, Taste of Everest is an experience worth savoring.

From the moment I stepped inside, the owner greeted me warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. He graciously suggested trying the chicken momo, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious paired with the garlic naan I ordered! Not only was the service swift, but the owner went above and beyond and offered a complimentary side of rice, which truly made my day. I also got a Mango Lassi, which was refreshing and perfectly complemented the flavors of the dish. The portion size was also great I couldn’t finish it in one sitting, one entree yielded enough food to last me until dinner the next day. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I'm eagerly anticipating my next order from this establishment. Highly recommended!

I was visiting my Friend in Connecticut and had a chance to dine at Taste of Everest. It carried all the fine delicacies of the great “Sub-Continent”. My friend ordered Indian Vegan dishes while I explored the Nepali Thali (table d’hote menu). It was simply “awesome”. Staff were friendly & the owner took my compliments with a big smile & informed me that his second location was opening soon in neighboring town of Norwalk. I promised him to visit the new location soon. We had an incredible dining experience. ???❤️?

Great menu and really pleasant staff and service. Everything we tried was delicious. The Beetroot Tikki has a fabulous mild texture. The Lasuni Gobi Vegan was cooked to a perfect crunch. The Chicken Tikka was tender and so tasty. Nice serving sizes. Definitely will be back!

Taste of Everest provides a friendly and inviting experience with its simple and cozy setup. My boyfriend and I are momo (Nepalese dumplings) fanatics. We had the vegetable chili momo and vegetable jhol momo. We got medium spiciness which was perfect for our spice tolerance. The momo wrappers were thin and chewy, not too bready, with a delicious curried cabbage filling inside. The slightly sweet, tangy sauce on the chili Momos was absolutely fantastic, and the flavors were overall very well-balanced. The service was excellent and the owner was very friendly

Awesome Indo-Nepalese fusion restaurant! My girlfriend and I are obsessed with momos (Nepalese dumpling) and found this restaurant in our google search. We were not disappointed. The skin was super chewy and not too thick; the perfect skin to filling ratio with the curried vegetables inside. We got the vegetarian pan fried and the chili momos. The staff were super friendly as well! We're looking forward to coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Good Nepali food but some flaws Came here driving home from out of state and wanted to see how our states momo fared. Place is small, had some seating but enough for a few parties. Server was nice but I feel some things got lost in translation. I got their chicken momo, truffle oil and goat cheese Naan, and some basmati rice as a side. Food took a little while to come out. When it did I got the rice first, then momo, then Naan. So the pacing was a little off. The momo was very good. Strong, earthy, spicy, and savory sauce with lots of dumplings. I love that they brought the heat but didn't overkill the pallet with spice. The dumplings themselves were too thick and the filling was dense, but the flavor was good. The truffle oil and goat cheese Naan had no truffle flavor, but I did get charged for it. As a goat cheese Naan, it was good. Soft and warm but just a little char. Good to dip in the soup. The basmati rice was reheated. Not bad but a little tough. Overall, not bad. It's not something I would trek for, but it works for a quick meal.
