I really enjoyed my complimentary pastry for my birthday with the reward program. The cashier was really nice and helpful. The ambiance is casual and I love the soups and sandwiches available without a long line.

Nobody was in here, soup didn't look hot, employees looked listless, and seemed unclean.

Where do I begin,There use to be pre-made salads, to-go food ...barely anything. There is always a line with only one person on one register, rest are closed for some reason. Then, the person who is behind the register, who is suppose to be there, is either just standing there not checking out or leaves leaving a line of people waiting. NOONE comes out to ring .And can anyone count change? Why is the correct change not being given out ?I don't know what happened to the organization but it's not there. Au Bon Pain either needs to hire more people or hire a new management because the over all professionalism is not there. And that's sad .

Awful. Painfully slow and disorganized flow of ordering, paying, and picking up your order. Tables and chairs are dirty. Employees seem to be zoned out and doing nothing. The manager made fun of my husband's name in front of him. Avoid.

Filthy dirty , horrible service . Shut this place down. Shocked OSHA hasn’t gotten involved.

My girlfriend and I wanted to try something new. The food was decent but the customer service and cleanliness of the restaurant was far from great. The tables were filthy, the trash was piled high and there were no napkins in the dispenser.

Stopped in for a quick bite during supper break. there was one customer in line ahead of me and maybe 3 in total in the whole restaurant. Two men were behind the counter, appeared to be filling orders. neither acknowledged us. As we waited, we had plenty of time to look around and all we could see was trash, food spills, and disorganization. A couple of display cases were empty but uncleaned. We waited for probably 6 minutes watching the two guys walking around behind the counter, totally ignoring our presence. finally just walked out.

I sometimes stop in here for a quick sandwich on lunch break as I work at the local hospital. I always get the black bean avocado sandwich and it's always delicious and neatly assembled.Today I really noticed how dirty everything was inside. The floors have crumbs and paper littered throughout (entrance was also sticky on my sneakers), the counters were dirty and many of the tables that didn't have customers sitting at them were also dirty. There is also a sliding door completely missing on the pastry display case when you walk in. Everyone walking into the restaurant constantly shifting and blowing the air right into the pastry case...hrmmI'm not sure if they are short staffed today as there is a help wanted sign out front but when the environment is so clearly dirty it makes me hesitant about eating food from here again... which is a shame because I come regularly.

Great location with friendly staff. Love the coupons and birthday offer options they offer via email. Definitely miss this at St. Francis Hospital but I hope they keep this mall location and expand to other malls in the CT area since they are better than Panera. Keep up the fresh goodies and clean location here at Westfarms. Been coming for years and plan to as well.

I'm still confused on what happened...but I ordered the two egg sandwich with sausage and no cheese. It took a while to make with two employees working on orders, I got it and it had cheese on it. Okay, I've experienced that before so I just politely asked them to make it again without cheese.Another 10 minutes goes by, other people order and are receiving their orders. I get mine and it's a completely different sandwich this time...While I was telling them it still wasn't right other people were going up and complaining about their orders too. They decide to make it a third time for me and while doing so, they had to remake at least 3 other people's orders that weren't right as well.At this point, a third employee went to help and after another 10 minutes, I finally get the right order. I'm not sure what was happening, but it just didn't seem like what I ordered was processing to the employees, along with multiple other people in the time I was in the restaurant. The employees seemed completely out of it and so did the manager. Definitely wouldn't recommend going here.

"Manager" choses to randomly close the dining area forcing a dozen or so patrons who are waiting to see relatives in the ICU out into the freezing cold. Why? To clean? Sanitize? NO. So she can then callously video those she kicked out standing in the chill of the hospital entry and share the video on social media. She must be so proud. When questioned, the "manager" claimed she was following "COVID Rules." Hospital staff unable to do anything since this is a CORPORATE OWNED LEASED location. The Dining area remained EMPTY and UNUSED for HOURS afterwards. What are they thinking? There are dozens of ways to maintain Covid safety protocols. This is a serious overreach that doesn't make a shred of sense. Saturday Nov 27, 2021 after 4 pm.

Dirty, poor quality food. So disappointing. I used to love this place

I work in the mall, Au Bon Pain is the only healthy choice for lunch, so I have no choice but to go here. The staff is so miserable, and rude every time I walk it. It’s like they hate you for even coming in. The only nice woman is the manager, everyone else is awful. They don’t make the sandwiches consistently. I order the same thing every time yet get a different sandwich every time. The employees hate you.

Won’t go there anymore, ordered chicken caesar wrap, and found a bug in it!!!!! Place is not clean at all and staff are rude as well.

Dirty tables (this is the cleanest one I could find) and cashier didn’t know how to make change when I gave her 3 pennies for a $4.28 order after she’d hit the enter button on the register. I told her 75 cents back, she had to get out her calculator and She asked me again what the change was.
