Hot Dogs have no business be this good! This is the type of place you'll see on the food network. It starts at the window. The customer service is great, helpful and friendly. Next comes the hot dog and bun quality on its own right are perfect. Then, the toppings. I had two dogs, one basic with ketchup, yellow mustard and relish. I was asked if I wanted Yellow or Brown which I'm always thankful for questions like that. My 2nd one was their own red pepper relish and sauerkraut which was absolutely amazing!! I could eat 4 more of those!! Thank you to whomever Carol is (I think is one the ladies who takes your order)! HAPPY 7 YEARS!!

Best damn hot dog I have had in a long time I recommend the creamy Cooper with caramelized onions damn that was good I had two. Reasonably priced worth every penny don't drive by try it you won't regret it my friends. Mac and cheese was awesome cheesy schmeezy baby. Lots of other stuff dog related and side dishes. I would give it a six star if I could but there's only five. Very friendly service I like that.

Carol's Lunch Box is a wonderful hot dog joint. The food is top notch with the dogs being delicious. The toppings are great, everything else is freshly made and there's a special treat - their New England clam chowder is fantastic! I must say, when we're craving a hot dog or quick cup of chowder Carol's Lunch Place is a great place to eat!

The Hot dogs were fantastic, Martin Rosol dogs are always the best! However the service was horrible. Carol was very rude to me and my family. It’s a shame a woman with such nice food has to be such a terrible human being. If you’re looking for kind, friendly service stay away from this place. Shame on you Carol you disgusting human being.

I have been to a ton of places that specialize in chili dogs. From New Britain, to Newington, a couple places in Southington that are long gone, the famous Nicks and Nanna's at the BigE decades ago. Michigan places in the Adirondacks, on and on. Carol's is my all time favorite, best quality dogs you'll find. Great options for toppings and her specials are very creative.
