We've been ordering Takeout from Cugino's for a couple of years and have always been pleased. Yesterday was the first time we dined at the restaurant. Thumbs up all around. Nice ambiance, friendly, competent staff and great food!

Food was good (have had better) but a bit overpriced. Service was good until the end where we were asked to move our dinner drinks we were finishing to the bar so they could give our table to more patrons and rushed us to pay. Extremely rude and will not return.

I had the absolute loveliest time here earlier this afternoon. They have incredible specials on the patio and at the bar during happy hour and Sunday all day. The patio space is gorgeous. I ordered a martini and a couple off apps (oysters and fries) and everything was delicious. The martini was made just the way I liked it and the server even brought out some extra olive brine on the side in case I wanted more, which I thought was so lovely. Oysters were $1.50 each and were massive and shucked perfectly. Very fresh and delicious. A great value for an oyster happy hour. Outside of the food being great and reasonably priced, the service was some of the best I've ever received. Just truly lovely, warm, nice people. I would go back based on the service alone, but the atmosphere and food sealed the deal. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

Our first time dining at Cugino's and we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. We honestly didn't know what to expect. We were looking for someplace to have lunch before our granddaughter's dance recital a couple of towns over which lasts over four hours. We live over an hour away so I looked up restaurants in the area and Cugino's stood out with excellent reviews and they were spot on! My husband and I had a fabulous lunch. Everything from the restaurant itself to the service and especially the food was great. I do realize that many people might feel it's a bit pricey especially for lunch but as this was going to be our main and possibly only meal of the day, it was fine with us. Even in spite of the prices, I would still highly recommend it. Wish we lived closer because it would be a restaurant we would go to often. Will definitely return when we're in the area.

I never write reviews but this is truly one of my favorite restaurants, if not my favorite. We've been coming here for years, since they opened the doors, and have never once received a bad meal or poor service (even on busy holidays like Mother's Day with larger groups). We just had an absolutely fantastic dinner on the patio tonight. They've also been incredibly accommodating for special events in the banquet room and for when we've needed certain accessibility requirements for people who were handicapped. The take-home meals we've gotten in the past are exceptional as well. Truly, if I could I'd give them more than 5 stars and I can't say that about many other restaurants in the area.

The attention you receive from the owners and wait staff is well beyond the average!! The portions are large and well presented. The owners themselves periodically check to make sure you have everything you need.

We have been frequenting Cugino's for quite some time now. The food is outstanding and the service is exceptional. They have every variety of food that you can imagine and their specials are to die for!
The food was very lack luster There was no flavor at all Half my meal was cold so I took it to go Appetizers took 40 minutes and all we ordered was oysters and a Caesar salad I had to wave people down to get refills on my drinks multiple times They barely checked on us but frequently checked everyone all around us They started cleaning up and breaking down tables while people were still being seated and/ or eating They should really work on their customer service To avoid reviews like this

The hostess when we first walked in was rude to the point where we were hoping we didn't make a mistake going there. It was our first time there so it wasn't off to a good start. The waitstaff though were very friendly and the food was good.

Mother's Day dinner. Place was packed, but we had multiple staff check on us, make sure we had everything we needed. They did put in wrong scallop order for my dad, but quickly made it right and sent him home w the order that was wrong. They didn't bat an eye when we told them about the error. Food was delicious and we hope to back again soon. I will tell people about this place.

Thinking over my previous review of today of Cugino’s , I have decided that I have den WAY too generous! What it boils down to is that I am tired of being nice to people who do NOT deserve it. I know for a fact, (and my past experience with this business) that they cater to families and large groups, (which is okay, I guess). But that in no way allows them to discriminate against solo, and (especially solo females) diners! And they do it ALL the time! When I attempted to call in my most recent to go order, the waitstaff INSTRUCTED me to place the order in person. How is that conducive or helpful to the customer?! And I recall years ago that Cugino’s had a restaurant in Simsbury. They were offering free glass of wine for customers via coupon . I went in alone I think for lunch; They refused to honor the coupon, and if that is not discrimination, then I don’t know what is! I walked out of the restaurant, and that did not seem to phase them one bit! If there was a spot for zero stars I would put that! You treat me fairly, and I will do the same! Otherwise, no.I am adding on to this review.’, as I could not see the way to start a fresh one. Anyhow, if you are a solo female dinner, avoid this place! They are bigoted, chauvinistic, & highly prejudiced against female diners! They don’t even have a few chairs to sit in , in the foyer area. They tell you to go wait at the bar. A lot of class, huh?! And they present themselves as a high end restaurant! I will be avoiding this place, for OBVIOUS reasons!
