Dirty tables poor service not worth the price. What is happening here it use to be great. Very few customers. Guess that’s it for me.

After years of loving the Nordstrom Cafe in Norfolk, visiting this location has been a shocking disappointment. First of all, the menu is very limited and unappealing. It's like going to a hospital cafeteria that is out of everything you want. The location is small, run down, and understaffed. They ask for the tip when you order. How can you tip for service you haven't even had? Best not to tip at all because the service here has been awful every time we've been there. Slow and rude waiters are apparently acceptable to the management here. Food is, eventually, just plopped down carelessly on your table. Glasses and silverware have been dirty. We've never enjoyed anything we have eaten here. Just keep waking.

Not sure if this is really what it's called I always thought of it as the Nordstrom cafe but it's right inside the store. They have good options to select from. Great place to go for lunch. Their tomato basil soup has a great flavor. I also enjoyed their cranberry turkey sandwich with havarti cheese on whole wheat bread. They have a fairly healthy selection sandwiches, salads, soups, entrees . The staff is also very friendly. Not a long wait for the food. Will definitely be back. Convenient to break up a long day of shopping.

Had our 18 month great niece and two adults; could not have been nicer and more convenient. Mary was our server; food was prepared and served just as we ordered, hot and timely. The children's meal was just right; and our salads were wonderfully well prepared. I loved the shrimp with the hot polenta crotons; and the salmon salad is tasty and also freshly prepared.
The food was delicious! I tried their pulled pork sliders and my wife hard their salad with salmon on it. The banana muffin had a great cream frosting as well. Would highly recommend for their food.

The cafe is really nice with quite a few great options. We have never been disappointed eating here. We had the turkey and chicken sandwiches very tasty. Honestly for this mall this is a go to place.

All four people in my party got severe food poisoning 24 hours after eating here on 12/19/17. We had different dishes but all had chicken. My 9 month old didn't eat any and is fine (thank god). It's a shame because I have been several times, and generally like the food though the service is often very slow and lackadaisical. I am currently still recovering, going on 72 hours without being able to eat much, and my sister and friends are in the same boat. Please consider carefully before eating here.

The food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere is nice, but the servers are getting seriously screwed out of their tip potential. Since they have you close the check at the counter and the servers have no control of the table. It's a shame to be quite honest.
