The Green Teahouse is inside of Westfarms Mall. They previously had a location in Blueback Square, but that's been gone for a few years now. I don't go to this location very often, because the teas are pricey and I don't frequent the mall often. However, I stopped by yesterday. The Green Teahouse makes very quality teas. They typically offer samples of their tea to try. The shop is elegant looking and has some traditional Chinese decor throughout. You can sit inside or take your tea with you as you shop. They also sell their teas loose, as well as brewing equipment that may be handy to have at home. Yesterday I stopped at The Green Teahouse and got their Blackberry Oolong tea. The best part about getting your tea here, is that they brew it as you order. It's sweetened with what you like, be it organic honey, agave, sugar or a combo. They precisely measure all the ingredients, use the specific temperature of water, etc. They can add tapioca, if you prefer. This tea isn't cheap. It cost me $7.00. It was delicious, lightly sweetened with honey, and rich in blackberry flavor. The tapioca was the right amount of chewy, that easily traveled through the wide straw. There is a point system, with every purchase you make, so you can get a free tea after so many "stars" are collected. If you're looking to try a real quality bubble tea, without any questionable ingredients, made authentically, this is the place to do so. Don't make it a habit, your wallet will cry.

I adore this place. I moved to Illinois in 2019 so I cannot physically be there, but I order their teas online. Right now I am sick in bed with Covid. I dragged my electric tea kettle into my quarantine area with my favorite teas from here and I’m settling in. I’m not saying it’s some magical cure, but the teas offer my hydration. I struggle to drink plain water so having a nice, flavorful herbal tea right now is bliss.

Very nice!!! The blackberry oolong was very good and the service was great. The owner seemed genuinely passionate and friendly about her craft, and provided excellent service alongside all employees in the store. The wait is long. This isn't a bad thing; each cup of tea is carefully made and steeped rigorously to assure a quality cup for every consumer. Even with this, the employees worked quickly and effectively during the lengthy process. Places like this are certainly are the pride of Connecticut. Keep it up! 10/10.

I am writing this as half of my tea cabinet (yes a whole cabinet for it) is filled with loose leaf tea from the Green Teahouse. I've followed them since they were at the Blueback Square location and have continued to trust them for the best tea here in greater Hartford. Not only is the staff friendly and knowledgeable about the product, but just how much I love the tastes and benefits of this tea still wow me today. We love the fresh and organic ingredients in each of the tea flavors. Personally raspberry pu-erh, sapphire cider, and blackberry oolong are immediate favorites that we always have stocked in the kitchen. I remember at first I thought it was pricey. But after buying a few, each bag can last a couple of months depending on how often you're drinking the tea and the number of times re-steeping it. I wouldn't have known it without the suggestions and knowledge of the staff. Good thing too because I always want to be stocked up on this amazing tea! Not only are the loose leaf products great, the in person tea bar is excellent as well. The teas are all fresh pressed and worth the wait for each one. I still remember the day it was super hot out and we had finished a hike and I needed to restock on tea. On our way home we stopped in and decided to get an iced blackberry oolong from the tea bar in addition to buying our loose leaf tea. Today my partner and I still ramble on about how that tea hit the spot and was perfect. Fresh and also not too sweet. They sweeten only with natural items, Including honey or agave. Love this spot and always will send people here if they're looking for fresh tea leaves from people knowledgeable about the product!

I was delighted to learn The Green Teahouse offers silver needle white tea! I purchased an iced silver needle white tea with Truvia, and the employee prepared it perfectly. The customer service is friendly and helpful, and the store set-up is welcoming. Highly recommend!

I have been to multiple boba shops around CT and this one has to be the best. While their tea is DELICIOUS it is also very healthy and good for you. I've seen other bubble tea shops just use powered tea, but the green tea house uses real and high quality tea leaves. The green tea house actually cares about your health and that's what makes it the best boba shop in CT.

They have so many flavors and add-ins that it will become your favorite new place just as it is mine I felt welcome soon as I walked in greeted my the manager and her employee that helped me make my final decision. I tried one of the new Tropical Delights Starfruit green with mixed Bobas that give you the extra flavor pop. I added honey instead of sugar . The employee mixed and created a delicious drink I loved it. They have a sign to scan for their app to get 5.00 off your 1st drink. Goodies for sale as well like homemade mooncakes, yummmmm. They have tea-makers,tea sets and cups and bottles for sale to make traveling with your tea easy.

What a lovely tea shop! I stopped by here with my friend and got some lemon exploding bubbles in my tea for the first time ever and every time I popped one it was delicious. I want to come back and try more of the tea flavors and bubble flavors as well.

Huge disappointment! Service was extremely slow for our order, which is relatively simple. We ordered the peach medley tea and 12th Night Caramel Decaf Black Bubble Tea. Both were terrible! The peach medley tea was watery tasting. The milk tea was so pale we knew it was going to be bad from the start. It was also very watery, no tea taste at all. The boba wasn't great either. Bland and a bit too hard. We ended up throwing both away. Price was also a bit expensive. I expected better.

I'm so glad to have found this gem! They have a variety of flavors of tea, including tea bags to sell separately and even tea pots with warmers!! I ordered the Raspberry Truffle tea latte and I've got to say.... I'm impressed!! The flavors are well balanced with the milk tea, PLUS the tapioca pearls at the bottom is like finding gold at the bottom of my tea. Yana was really helpful on my visit- she's super friendly! I'm planning on checking this place out more thoroughly next time I'm not running errands.

I tried this tea place (in the mall) and I was very happy with what I got! The matcha mango and matcha berry drinks were delicious and sweet. I loved the flavor combo of strawberry/matcha and matcha/mango. They also have tons of loose leaf teas which were unique and looked beautiful. I also really liked the moon cake- it had a mix of chocolate and smooth red bean which really went well together, and the red been taste was a bit more mild.
