I was at the Casino for my daughter's event. We decided to grab sushi for lunch. Sushi Koya was great. We were seated and waited on immediately. Our wattress was both extremely friendly and helpful. The food was great and served quickly. Portion sizes were good. Plating was nice and pricing was average.

Not busy, stood at front for a few minutes. Waiter cleared the Bar for us, to the right, sat down, he said he'll be right with us, just cleaning up, no menus...a couple came in right when we sat down, sat at Bar in front, all of a suddenly they had food, they had menu's, they continued and ordered a list of food from the sushi chef's, they enjoyed their treat as we sat waiting for our menu's. Mentioned it to our waiter later on and he acknowledged it, just made us feel not happy about our meal, which did taste good, when we finally got it, when they were done filling the couples long list of food order, it was handed to us over the glass from the sushi chef. Just wasn't the experience I expected for $150.00 Left not thrilled.

Worst sweet potato roll I ever had and I have had hundreds. First time the "sweet" potato was not orange. Did they use Japanese sweet potato? I am not sure but the roll tasted like a hamburger with fries which was so weird. The waitress and service was terrible as well. The sushi roll would fall apart but it was the fastest I ever received sushi in my life. I received my rolls in less than 4 minutes . The casino is so fancy around the restaurant that it makes you feel like the food will be really gourmet but it's certainly not. 12$ a veggie roll plus tips, taxes, etc. Most expensive roll I ever had while also being the worst I ever had is a bad combination. ?

Great little place for date night. Staff and atmosphere are awesome. Seating is first come first served and limited.

Visited for dinner on 2/9. This food was amazing and we loved the ambience of the restaurant however the service was really poor.We were barely greeted to start. Once we received our drinks, they were thrown onto the table by our server to the point where it made a loud noise and the table next to us looked. And that kind of carelessness carried on the rest of the night. Pretty much every dish was aggressively place in front of us. You could tell the server wanted to be anywhere but there. I get serving on a Friday night is exhausting but don’t take it out on paying customers. What did it for me is when I paid, the check with my card was tossed to me by the server and slid past me where I had to catch it with my hand. I’m usually pretty forgiving but this was one to the worst serving experiences I’ve ever had. We couldn’t leave fast enough. Hopefully it was just a bad day for her but definitely makes us think twice about coming back.

First time Diner and I’m so glad I switched my previous reservation to this establishment. There is not enough reviews for this location to signify how amazingly fresh and tasty this food is. Staff is so friendly and food comes out fast and so flavorful. The ambiance is small but cute loving the ecstatics with the deco art. The food is deliciously tasty and just soo freaking fresh. It was definitely made with a lot of love and we will be back again….

Horrible service. Tourist trap. Sat parties waiting out of order (same party sizes). Ordered when we sat down, waited 25 min for appetizer as we watched later tables eat their entire meals.

For sushi, Sushi Koya is very affordable given that the sushi is sizable and great quality. My partner and I walked in and were immediately seated. The vibe was calm and relaxed when we were there. My partner and I ordered the Dinosaur Eggs, the Salmon Lover Roll, and the Volcano Roll. Our server was friendly and efficient and took our orders in no time. The Dinosaur Eggs were true to their name because they were big. Taste-wise, they were pretty good but nothing special. The Salmon Lover Roll was our favorite and the mango in the middle didn't overpower the salmon (I find some salmon mango rolls to be too sweet). The Volcano Roll was also decent but nothing special. The fish for all the dishes were fresh though and the portions were great. If you don't wanna pay the price for a special roll, Sushi Koya also has Maki Mondays starting 8pm and you can get tons of maki rolls for cheap. So if you wanna get Sushi at Mohegan Sun, it's definitely worth it.

Sushi was good, I enjoyed the tuna and yellow tail Maki. Veg sushi is good as well. Sake is pretty good. Pecan pie with vanilla ice cream was excellent. Staffs are good, service is very fast.Parking: Casino has plenty of of parking

Went with a friend, a young lady checked us in and told us she’d text us when our table was ready. She let in a few other people before us (despite them being in line after us), and told us we should sit next door at Summer Shack instead. No waiters came to us after 20 minutes, so I asked a waiter - thinking they forgot we were next door. He rudely said “we’re busy, you need to wait.” We waited another 30 minutes and no one offered us water or asked what we wanted to order. Me and my friend got so hungry we just decided to order food at Summer Shack, even though we were waiting for sushi. The lady who told us to sit at Summer Shack walked past us numerous times and avoided eye contact. She never checked up on us, despite sitting us away from the restaurant and telling us we would get our food soon. Very disappointed with the service and care here.
