The bagels are very good. But they switched to a "pay at the register first" process which means you don't get to look at the bagels and you don't speak to the people preparing them anymore. More often than not my order gets messed up now. And you are expected to tip first!

To the owner,You should be ashamed of yourself for running an establishment like you do.You need to hire more people to give better sevice for dining in and the drive thru. I've been coming here for years only because there is no other place around.Everything is slow, you should be getting your customers in and out as fast as you can but that's not happening and the bagels are very small.

Great food, terrible service. Just wanted a bagel with cream cheese, but at only 11am they were out of all of the good flavored bagels. Why the heck not make more? Running out of the same flavors every morning, you could actually sell more if you have more. And then the kids working there are so rude, and they dont even check to see if they have the bagels available until you get to the window and then you have to wait even longer. But certainly tasty. $8 feels like I was overcharged for 1 bagel w/creamcheese

place really was below my expectations. First of all of the bagels were extremely small and there was no cream cheese on my bagel. Secondly, the lady at the drive-through was freaking miserable. She should not be working there. If she if she's that miserable, she needs to find another job will never go back there ever your best bet is just to go to Dunkin' Donuts. You can get a bigger bagel with more cream cheese and taste better.

Went to drive thru. Bagels are delicious - when they have what you want. At 10 am last Saturday we made a special trip that takes over a half hour to get there. Specifically to get their salted bagels. They were out of them. 10 am on a Saturday! Had to select other types. Made a special effort to get up early today - Sunday - and got there at 8 am. Wanted 6 salted bagels. They only had 3. They open at 6am and were out again?? Once again, had to settle for another type. Got a bagel bundle including 2 cream cheese. Got home and guess what? No cream cheese in the bag. Called and the associate could not refund me for the cream cheese unless she physically sees the card I used for the purchase. So I would have to drive over an hour round trip to get a refund. She was also too busy to take my name and number for the manager who is off today. So I have to call back when she is not busy. Very poor management and very poor planning on their part. Hopefully I can get my money back for the cream cheese. Needless to say we will not be going back. Too much effort on our part for shoddy service and not being able to get what we wantUpdate-never heard back from anyone. Contacted customer service and got no response. What a shoddy ebterprise.

I drove to the store early this morning while ordering I was informed that they were out of several types of bagels so I settled for what they had. I also ordered a coffee. My bagels were supposed to come with two tubs of cream cheese. We had discussed the type that it was supposed to be in the bag. I drove back to Cromwell open up the bag no cream cheese. I called up and talk to someone, and all he said was I’m sorry and that was it Perhaps they need to focus a little bit more on the training aspect of working the drive-through window.

Great Bagels BUT: they recently switched to a pay first mode in which you can’t actually interact with the person making your food. The result is that you often get the wrong bagel and the experience of going there is totally impersonal. I will get my breakfast sandwiches from a place where I can talk to the person making it - food isn’t just fuel, it’s relationships - but there is no corporate metric to measure that.

This review is about the corporation but does apply to this chain as this is where I go to get bagels. The bagels have shrunk…and let me tell you I’ve been a brueggers customer for many years. The bagels are almost too small like going into miniature. When you get the bagels prepared there’s never any cream cheese like a thin layer like you would put when you’re putting butter on bread. I have to buy the tub of cream cheese and make it myself I can’t ever get it made there or it’s horrible there’s barely any cream cheese bagel is never properly toasted probably because the employees are always understaffed running around and are tired and can’t properly do their job because corporate needs to hire one more to properly run the place there’s never enough employees. They never have any of the flavors in stock when you go every single bagel is sold out and I feel as though years of this happening that they would just make more ahead of time to accommodate the amount of customers they get but no they never have any bagel flavors. I’m guessing the amount of cream cheese is corporate standards and doesn’t reflect the employees there. It’s absolutely ridiculous. And the size of the bagels makes it so a lot of times if I was going to go there I don’t. Your loosing way more business cutting corners let me tell you. It’s cheap and probably offensive to many. A bagel shouldn’t look like it’s halfway to a miniature bagel I mean give me a break you charge 2.00 per bagel. I remember when the bagels were big and they would put a big heaping of cream cheese. Just recently the only bagel that was still a proper size is now mysteriously has shrunken the poor jalapeño cheddar bagel the only bagel left that was a big size is super tiny. Very sad excuse for a bagel now. Jalapeño cheddar bagel lovers are crying themselves to sleep from this mast difference in size and quality.
