I love El Polla Guapo. I usually go to the Newington location close to home, but met a friend here. I love the space in the back and it was easy access. Will come back.
Very great place in town for a quick takeout. Orders are usually ready within 5 to 10 minutes, which is very convenient to me. Food is good, we don’t go there very often, we only use this place when we’re super lazy and don’t feel like cooking.

Definitely worth a try! This place puts a really unique spin on rotisserie chicken and offers a fresher, healthier alternative to traditional fast food. The Brussels sprouts are REALLY good and don't sleep on the Caramel Apple Empanadas! If I had one constructive criticism it that they should have some better seating options for people who have hip/leg issues. My Mom (who was some severe lower extremity health issues) loved the food, but had a hard time getting comfortable in the metal chairs they use (I found them to be comfortable). It might be nice to offer some padded seating. In summation... TRY THIS PLACE!!!

Absolutely LOVE the food! The tacos and the bowl are so good. Excellent quality, love the mushrooms and Brussel sprouts in both! The chicken is excellent!
I love the flavor combinations! I don't know what culture from which this food derives. It's not Mexican, and I'm guessing Carribean somewhere.I always get the Arroz con Pollo bowl. Such a combination of flavors that work well together. Chicken, guacamole, pickled onion, plantains, Pico de Gallo and yellow rice. Inwould never have put them together, but wow!One of my favorite places and one I always hit when I'm in the area. I wish there were some closer to me than an hour+ away.Very clean. Plenty of seating. Quick service.

My company ordered food from here for an event for more than 40 employees. I was so glad to try it. I had roasted chicken; yellow rice and various grilled veggies. I made a great taco with all the options. I loved their pickle onions; grilled Brussels sprouts; cabbage salad; and all 3 sauces. I will definitely try their location soon. I Ate everything on my plate.

This is my favorite quick service spot in Glastonbury. The food is always on point- I usually get one of the bowls with chicken, delicious rice, and toppings such as cojita cheese and pickled onions. Highly recommend!
