I rarely leave poor reviews, especially for small businesses, but Glastonbury Coffee Shop has finally earned it after the nearly 20 years that I've experienced poor service and lacking meals here. I've always tried to give it another shot, and have always been disappointed. The food is subpar, the atmosphere is old and stale, and everything that you touch is sticky. The incredibly rude staff is the worst issue here though. The servers are decidedly unwelcoming, and will make you feel as though you are an inconvenience to them as soon as you walk in the door. There are so many better locally owned establishments to give your business to. Do not waste your time or money here.

This place might be good for locals/regulars and a cheap breakfast but it's not my cup of tea. Prefer Ken's corner and the breakfast places in Manchester like the Cosmic Omelette. I think the home fries are frozen and the eggs were a little too greasy and buttery for scrambled eggs. My husband's over easy which were better. The coffee tasted weak, and I am not a coffee person, and the OJ reminded me of Sunny D, which funny enough was the best part of my meal as it reminded me of my childhood. Bacon was good. Toast is toast. Sausage was Jimmy Dean's or something similar.

The theme song to Cheers plays in my head every time I visit Coffee Shop. It’s mostly locals that know each other’s names. Recognize and great the out of towners ( myself).Great price for a hearty serving of good food.

As a regular, you can't beat their service and consistent quality of the food. Not fancy, but just perfect the way it is.

I love this spot because it has always been consistent in my experiences, with friendly service, great food, and fair prices. I will be back :)

The worst breakfast ever Can’t believe this place is in business. $3.20 for a glass of orange juice. Eggs were so dry. French toast had absolutely no taste. I will never be back.Parking: Parking is awful. One handicap spot is sad.

Let’s start with the staff: I was greeted with a smile and the young lady was beyond kind and sweet listened to everything I had to say ( dietary restrictions) she double checked everything!! Awesome: now the food just adds them to the next level, it was made hot fresh and quick! The home fries are to die for!! Highly recommend them!

Good selection of breakfast, quick and friendly service, nice little coffee shop with a coffee and breakfast bar. Not that this is Cash only. I have been here many many times and will keep going, always had the greatest experience.

Cozy, simple breakfast diner. Luke's Diner from Gilmore Girls vibes. Food is average but affordable. This is a CASH ONLY place which is not advertised anywhere on the front door or menu. The only sign they have is a hand written piece of paper above the cash register and they do not have an ATM in the restaurant.

CASH ONLY! This made us order less sinceI only carry a small amount of cash. The food was good and fast. Server was great but for me the cash only part would keep me from coming back.

Warning: This location is *Cash Only*Luckily, there are ATMs within walking distance.Great local place for a quick and hassle-free breakfast. No worries about finding a parking spot, tables are clean, service is friendly.Ordered:- BLT on choice of bread (bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise; choice of white, whole wheat, or rye bread)- Chocolate milkThe sandwich was made using fresh ingredients, the slices of bacon were perfectly cooked, good amount of mayonnaise, and as a whole it was filling.I had completed a 5k race beforehand and decided to order a chocolate milk as a recovery drink since I already downed lots of water upon fishing the run.

Surprised of the 3+ yelp review. Very basic breakfast-lunch menu. Had eggs, sausage, home fries, toast and orange juice. $15. Eggs overcooked, sausage links DEEP FRIED, frozen home fries DEEP FRIED. Orange juice not really orange and tasteless. The rye toast and Smucker's jam was good. Looking at the menu, there would be no reason to return. Sorry GCS, such little effort to prepare a quality BREAKFAST gives consumers reason to go elsewhere.
