Came here with an open mind on a Tuesday for dinner at 7. There was a wait of a little over an hour. I spent that hour reading reviews and looking at pictures of my which food items to order. Ordered the birria quesadilla and the short rib and carne asada tacos. From the nachos and guac to the birria quesadilla, both wete very bland. The tacos had too much going on, I prefer simplicity. The chicken rice bowl was filled with flavor. Thats prob and the best option. I eat plenty of Latin food both home made and restaurant food to know flavor. Check my reviews. Surprised that many people think this place is the best. Average t best. Staff was pleasant. Ambience was nice. Ample parking.

We stumbled upon this place because our friends were already there and it was delightful. They said they waited a long time for their food and there was a line, which usually means it’s pretty good. This place didn’t disappoint. We had margs and tacos! The chili shrimp taco and the Al pastor tacos were fantastic and packed with meat. My wife had the tuna and salmon tacos, she said the salmon one was amazing. They even supplied blankets and heaters for outside.10/10 would recommend and come back!

Fantastic restaurant that you should definitely check out. The food and drinks are delicious, the atmosphere is cool, and the employees are great. If you're in the mood for a margarita, tacos, churros, etc. then this should be your destination. I've been told that there can be a line to get in, so plan to go early. You also won't be able to sit until your whole party arrives, so plan to hang out at the bar if you have stragglers.

Oh my deliciousness!!! This 3-hour drive and 35-minute wait was absolutely worth it!! I'll be doing it again except on a week day. The drinks were strong and oh so good. The BEST mexican cuisine EVERRRRRR!!!! Every bit of food you place in your mouth is full of flavor. I haven't had delicious guacamole since I made my own. This tastes like my guacamole. I want more!! So, I'll be driving from NJ for quality food and amazing/attentive service.

this is one of my favorite restaurants in CT. It’s always so consistent and I have never had anything bad here. They have my favorite margaritas and their chips and queso is a MUST.They don’t take reservations so expect to wait a long time for a table. (It doesn’t matter what day) but I promise you the wait is WORTH IT.

EXPECT TO WAIT 90 MINUTES OR LONGER!!! There is no day of the week or time of day you you can show up here and expect to wait less than that. We've been 2 or 3 times over the years, before the wait times got to be INSANE, but the last 3 times we've attempted to go the wait times are just nuts, and we've ended up going somewhere with a shorter wait. The most recent time we attempted to go we got there 10 minutes after they opened, at 4 PM on a weekday, and the parking lot was already full and people were already waiting outside. The food is pretty good, but what food is really worth waiting 90+ minutes for (and $$$). It's definitely good, one of the better Mexican places in central and eastern CT, but not terribly authentic (e.g. the carne asada tacos have barbecue sauce). The margaritas are unique and interesting.EXPECT TO WAIT!!!Parking: Parking lot is usually full every day of the week. Don't go.

Great food and fantastic margaritas. If you are in a rush not the place to go, usually 1 to 2 hr wait but well worth it.

Every time I’ve gone, the wait time has been an hour or more. Very much worth the wait though. The tacos and quesadillas were some of the best I’ve had. I usually have the enmoladas. Service is great.

100% one of the best mexican restaurants in the state. The margs and tacos are special.Be prepared to wait a long while to get a table regardless of when you go (they don't take reservations)
