Siam Thai Restaurant in Glastonbury offers a delightful dining experience with convenient parking, ensuring stress-free visits. The staff is incredibly hospitable, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere. The Sriracha fried rice is an absolute standout, boasting bold flavors and satisfying textures. Indulge in the fried vanilla and coconut ice cream for a decadent dessert that's simply divine. Additionally, their spring rolls and tofu triangles are expertly prepared. Siam Thai Restaurant is a must-visit destination for authentic Thai cuisine in Glastonbury

We have gone to Siam for years, a 30 minute drive each way. Unfortunately, our recent experience was just disgusting. We ordered a shrimp curry and the shrimp were not cleaned properly (ex:??) and so we asked to have it remade since the shrimp are cooked in it. They brought back the same dish two minutes later. Then, as we were paying our bill, there was a bug on my glass that had clearly been there for a long time.We used to enjoy eating there but with this trip we won’t return.

For appetizers, we had fried shrimp cake, calamari, papaya salad. For entree, we had drunken noodle and basil chicken fried rice. Calamari was bland. Everything else was amazingly tasty !! Drinks menu can be better . They only had beers and house wine.

These were the worst drunken noodles I've ever had. It tasted bland and I had asked for it to be spicy but it was not at all. The provided chili sauce on the side was also not spicy. The Tom Kha gai soup was okay but it had literally one piece of chicken in it, as well as the noodles having very little chicken. The soup also was also way more vinegary than I've ever had. Usually when I get Thai food it's super aromatic and has a nice brown color but I think the reviewer who said they shy away from fish sauce is correct, Little flavor and too chewy noodles.

For years, I've walked by this place on the way to Whole Foods. But today, I finally stopped in for lunch. So glad I did. The glass noodle with shrimp and ground chicken appetizer was spicy enough to get your attention. Also tried the Cashew Nuts with chicken. Great flavor. The service was prompt and friendly. I'll definitely be back.

This is our go-to Thai take-out spot. Their food is always fresh and flavorful. They're also pretty fast most days. They do a really big take-out business, which is what we usually do. This is a strip mall place. The inside is fine/nice, but nothing extraordinary.

This place caters to the local demographic. Food is bland and they are afraid to use fish sauce to offend the patrons. Don't listen to the reviews stating this is authentic Thai food. We've traveled extensively throughout SE ASIA and all over Thailand so this is not for those seeking spice and robust flavors. We saw they had Chiang Mai noodle soup (our favorite region), so I asked if it's similar to khao soi and the waiter said kinda. Our soup was basically coconut milk with little red curry, broth was white. A telltale sign of an Americanized restaurant is when there aren't condiments on the table. We took a few bites and asked for the check. On a positive note, the service was quick and efficient but we will stick to Thai restaurants in the hood.

We love Thai food and have eaten thai all over the world; including in Thailand. This is great thai food with good service in a low key casual place that is good for groups. We get upset that too many restaurants are calling themselves "Thai" because it sells better than other cuisines, and still include dishes in their menu that have nothing to do with Thailand & we have found plenty of these type of so called "Fake Thai" places in the Tri-State area, but this place is not. True Thai cuisine is very different than Chinese or Japanese cuisine. This restaurant as of today seems true to its roots with a menu of simple thai dishes, and spices. At the same time, we have found people who don't know true Thai food but only what they have grown up with and/or eaten at these other "Fake Thai" restaurants looking for those fake thai dishes here, and if you are in that group - you should probably go somewhere else; maybe local chinese restaurants would work better for "Fake Thai" aficionados. The pineapple and mango rice dishes got high marks in our group along with their coconut milk soup. Their steamed vegetable dumplings were great, and only suggestion was that they need to add a few more of these to the appetizer. If you like true Thai food, you won't be disappointed here.

Called in for take out. Three times in a row keep making mistakes with spice level. They don’t know how to take order. Really bad service. I would avoid this place if there was other option.

Siam restaurant is a notch above most Thai places around here. The best way I've guaged the quality of Thai food is by the Tom Kar soup. Chicken or shrimp, this recipe is the best. creamy, lime infused, coconut , and thickness are all superior.I also ordered the Pad Thai a staple of all good Thai places. This plate is as good as it gets.Tucked in next to Whole foods, Siam is a must dine experience!
