I recently read a write up about the Fresh Monkee, and drove 30 minutes to try one of their shakes. The vibe was not friendly at all. It was not very busy either. A young man waited on me, no greeting, no smile, nothing. I ordered a Nutella shake, which came to over $11.00 for a large. For that price, I would expect something sensational. It was supposed to consist of Nutella, chocolate, protein, milk, and a banana. And what I tasted was chocolate protein powder, a little milk, and ice. There was no Nutella in it, no banana in it. It was totally devoid of taste and texture. It was extremely disappointing, and not a good experience at all. I would not recommend this place for a smoothie or a shake. It was extremely overpriced for what I received. What an overhype!

First time visiting The Fresh Monkee, cool to see it is a local chain! THE FOOD-they serve protein shakes-extensive menu but also possible to create your own -great for peanut butter lovers but also TON of options for those who aren't fans -I ordered the blueberry pie and it was really tasty! I was expecting more of a smoothie consistency but it was much lighter/thinner consistency as it's a protein shake. I'm not a huge fan of toppings on my drinks so I would get it without the crumbled graham cracker next time -a bit pricey but there are a lot of ingredients and it's a nice size for what you pay in my opinion! I used mine as lunch! THE SERVICE-staff was extremely nice. Told the cashier it was my first time visiting and she asked my likes/dislikes to give me some recommendations! I really appreciated the help -quick check out and making of the shakes THE ATMOSPHERE-really cute theme, very green/jungle-y-variety of seating options including tables and more lounge like seating. There was also a table outside -I was able to hop on a meeting quick while I waited to go to an appointment locally. Might not be the best idea if you've got extremely important meetings to attend with the rumbling of the blenders but it worked for me!! I will definitely be back to try another flavor.

Ok, I go here almost every darn day after the gym and I never get sick of it! The staff basically knows exactly what I want before I even get in the door. The owner is just as friendly, and they offer a rewards program as well as a military discount. Great place!

Maybe the amount of Ultimate Green smoothie receipts there are in my email means something good is going on here. When I'm looking for a treat that is healthy and satisfies what I need to have after a workout, my brain is Pavlov'ed to want Fresh Monkee now. I like the ultimate green smoothie because of all the healthy ingredients, no sugar added, and I get to pick it I want lemon, lime, or orange as my citrus. Some days I'll add vegan protein. I typically avoid it because it has a weird after taste. But the vegan protein Fresh Monkee puts in has no after taste to me. I guess I've become that person who really likes protein. Definitely worth the snack and meal sized options they have to keep me on track with my health and fitness goals. I'll earn my free smoothie through their rewards program soon enough! My husband exclaimed "this is delightful" after his first sip too. See you again soon Fresh Monkee!
I was looking forward to getting a shake at fresh monkey and I was a little disappointed I must say. They had one person making shakes and one person hand washing all of the blenders. I mean it's a Saturday morning it's probably going to busy. I totally understand that someone has to wash the items but the person taking orders was also the one making all of the shakes. With that said she cashed me out used my card and then went on to make the shakes with her hands touching the banana after touching my card and the computer screen that everyone has touched. I finally got my shake it was so milky and had little flavor. I was pretty disappointed. I am not writing this review to scare you away from going but I am hopeful the owner will make positive changes.

Looking to grab a quick tasty Smoothies look no further. I was running errands and it was past lunch and close to dinner and I needed something to curb the tummy. Decided to give them a try and they didn't disappoint. I went with the Maui Colada since I love tropical flavors and it didn't disappoint. It had a nice Mango and Pineapple flavor and tamed and the tummy rumbling. The Store is bright, clean and airy and the servers are happy to help give suggestions.
