Canoe was a great find! The reviews were right - the food and ambience was perfect. My husband and I sat at the bar and we had a great time! The bartenders were knowledgeable and helped us with the menu. Kept the flow really nicely and we didn't feel rushed or anything. Highly recommend!

I ordered delivery. I rarely find crab cakes with much crab in them. Canoe’s are stuffed. Their lobster roll is fresh and stuffed. The extra butter was awesome. The salad was fresh. The crab cakes were part of the specialty salad. Overall we were very happy with our order. We made the right choice!

Excellent service and great menu variety as I had a guest who preferred fish only and another with a gluten allergy. Peking duck tacos, grilled octopus, calamari, tuna over crispy rice, and coconut margaritas were a huge hit.

Great food. We had the lobster shooters, duck tacos and seafood risotto. They were all excellent, well balances and fresh. We came for an early dinner. Service was great. Would definitely come back if in the area again for an extended amount of time.
Always a great meal accompanied by excellent service. Natasha is best. Knows the menu helps with drinks, apps, and entrees. Oh, and don't forget dessert!! The Napolian and monkey bread ?, I can't wait to go back.

Have never been disappointed with the food or service. Always freshly prepared and served. It is a great place to meet friends in either the bar area or dining area. Like most restaurants today, prices are increasing little by little. They have maintained portion size and quality, but have seen a slight increase in price.

This was our first time at Canoe - we were there early for dinner on a Monday night. The service was great and people came to check on us several times to make sure everything was good. The food was excellent - the fish and mussels cooked perfectly as well the tuna. It is a small restaurant, so by the time we left it was filling up and becoming a bit more noisy.

Maybe it was an off night, but our meal was mostly bad. The salad was good, but the fries that came with our meals were a complete joke. The lobster roll was not worth the price and the chicken burger was pretty mediocre. Good service, though, and nice enough atmosphere.

This place is positively amazing! The lobster shooters are one of the best and most unique starters on the planet. The crispy roast duck in the best that you will find on this side of Beijing, and the rest of the food is just superb. No, I am not a tout or a family member. My wife and I have dined at Canoe a half dozen times in the last year, and have come away raving about it every time. Finally, the staff are warm and friendly, without being overly attentive.
Great food, very reasonable for Greenwich! Staff very friendly but felt a bit rushed. I was still eating the last of my dinner and the dessert menus were put down on the table. Other than that, I love canoe!

Another terrific meal, enhanced by the fact that the noise level became overwhelming just as we were about to leave. The food was delicious and attractively plated. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient...and deserves a quieter background in which to enjoy dining at leisure.

The way I see it, negative reviews are somewhat whiners. I found service to be quite pleasant and attentive, and the food to be very good. I had and actually liked the Brussel sprouts !! Say no more!

I love everything about Canue. The food is not only delicious but beautifully served. The wait staff attentive and helpful. The only issue is the noise level particularly at dinner time. It still remains my favorite restaurant even though I live in Westchester. Audrey

Food was ok. Delightful wedge salad with blue cheese. And then .... Nothing. Did not check on me, did not tell me the reason for a long delay in getting scallops, and the risotto was woefully under seasoned and hard. When I asked the manager today about the service delay, he argued with me. Not returning. Lovely casual restaurant space. You won't find me there again! Maybe there is a more competent cook in the kitchen at dinner time. And maybe they are not keen on a solo diner. Adieu!
