Ordered from here twice for pickup, first time was fine. Second time I should have been more wary when the guy who brought my food out lifted the bag to eye level in front of his face to hand me the bag and coughed three times directly into it. Figured it would be fine since food was covered, I mean probably was but regardless, I got insane food poisoning from it.It was the only thing I had eaten that day, only ate about a 1/3 of the dish, soon after started feeling nauseous. Got worse and worse and spent the next few days violently puking among other things. It's been about a week since and I'm still kind of recovering. Not coming back here.

Very good local spot. I'm used to dining in NYC and have my favorite spots there. So when a friend suggested getting Indian food here I said let's try. India Ave didn't disappoint. Everything was well prepared and delicious. The interior is modern and comfortable. In my opinion the outside needs a facelift but the food is worth the trip.

I recently ordered a large tray of chicken dum biryani and two servings of veg biryani from this restaurant for a party, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The quantity of food provided was generous, perfect for a gathering. The taste, however, exceeded my expectations, making it one of the best biryanis I've ever had in the United States.I want to extend my appreciation to Chef Masudur Rahman for not only crafting such delicious dishes but also for seamlessly handling my large order and ensuring timely delivery. The restaurant's delivery service was impeccable, living up to their commitment of delivering orders right on time.I highly recommend all customers to try their biryani; you'll undoubtedly experience a flavor that surpasses that of other restaurants. In my opinion, this restaurant stands out for its exceptional biryani, and I am confident you'll agree once you give it a taste.

Food quality and flavor very high - but they've started skimping drastically on the rice portion that comes with each entree. Thought it was a mistake the first time they did it. Will not be ordering again - nickel and diming the rice on an $80 plus meal is not cool

This is the best Indian in the area that I've had. Have only ordered delivery but India Avenue is incredibly consistent and a solid order of any dish (have tried most of them)

Watch out. Food quite spicy. Make sure to tell the server if you want to tone down the spice level. We regretted not doing so and had to order plain yoghurt to soothe our palates. Otherwise the food is good in this dimly lit place!

Got a couple of items (samosa chat and chili chicken) catered for a small neighborhood Diwali get-together. Food was delivered 5-10 minutes ahead of time, no issues at all. Both the dishes were delicious, everyone loved it, glad we ordered from here. Ramesh who helped me through the process is amazing - great customer service!

Food was very good. Portion size for certain dishes was disappointing and completely ridiculous. For example: For $18.95 you get 4 fairly thin slices of Paneer Tikka( we are used to giant thick pieces from restaurants in the city that charge way less) That comes out to approximately $4.75 for each piece of cheese. Same with tofu tandoori 4 fairly small pieces of tofu for $12.95.
