Amazing service and food. Too bad they have air fresheners pumped into their ventilation system that makes you feel like you are sitting next to the bathroom on an airplane. Anyone that cooks knows you don’t mix these kind of smells with food, especially high end cuisine. Air fresheners are carcinogens. I won’t come back. ( the food and service was top notch - but the air fresheners are an epic fail).

One star for Manager AdamFive stars for Assistant Manager JamesI had made a reservation for my wife's birthday celebration at Lescale for 1:30 pm. Excited to start the celebration early, I called ahead and was graciously accommodated to arrive an hour earlier. However, what should have been a joyous occasion turned into a nightmare due to the unprofessional behavior of Manager Adam.Upon arrival, we politely inquired about the possibility of a window seat, only to be met with disdain from Adam. Instead of handling the situation with tact and professionalism, he chose to publicly berate us in front of the entire restaurant, including our 1-year-old daughter. It was disheartening and completely uncalled for, especially on my wife's first birthday as a mother.Despite my wife's attempt to address the issue with Adam, he arrogantly dismissed her concerns, showing a complete lack of accountability and empathy. His half-hearted apology did nothing to rectify the emotional distress he caused. In stark contrast, Assistant Manager James reached out to us later with a heartfelt apology, acknowledging the unacceptable behavior displayed by Adam. His genuine concern and offer to ensure a better experience in the future were appreciated and stood in stark contrast to Adam's demeanor.Adam's reprehensible conduct is a stain on Lescale's reputation. His lack of professionalism and empathy are concerning, and it is appalling that someone with such poor people skills is in a managerial position in the service industry. He should take a page from James's book on how to treat customers with respect and dignity.I urge Lescale management to take swift action in addressing this matter. No customer should be subjected to such treatment, especially on a special occasion. Perhaps a conversation with the Better Business Bureau will underscore the importance of upholding professional standards in customer service.

we always feel like we are on vacation when dining there The servers Camillo and Lenny always recognize repeat customers, and make us feel very comfortable, and they are very knowledgeable of the menu

Mediocre food and service; ho hum water view. Generally the restaurant closest to the water served the worst food and L'Escale does not disappoint in serving uninspired fare. The current manager has been there too long and has a bad attitude. Had too many bad experiences in the past year to give them my business anymore.

I don't see how anyone is knocking the restaurant. Other than some higher prices for dishes, I was happy with everything we ordered. Between, the pastas and seafood and desserts and appetizers this restaurants food was spot on. The ambiance was a delightful surprise, one night they had live music in the bar which you can hear through the restaurant. And they had the fire place rocking which was awesome for the cold winter nights. They had a great wine selection for bottles and glasses and even served the glasses in the appropriate glassware, which is a nice treat. Highly recommend to anyone staying at the hotel or passing through. Great upscale restaurant, doing everything right.

More interesting than usual in that the kitchen was about to be closed for a month for renovation right after our meal! Everything was a s good as usual it was just at first we were not aware that the kitchen was closing at 3:00

Better than ever! The mussels were fantastic and the endive and radicchio salad with goat cheese was one of their best salads. Service a always excellent. We've been going there for over 20 years and they do not disappoint.

L'Escale is always a great date night place...the atmosphere makes the evening feel special and the food is amazing. All of the wait staff is attentive and helpful, but if you get Lenny it is extra special.

The food and wine were excellent. The ambiance was good. The service was very professional. L'Escale is a great place to meet for a wonderful meal with friends. I have been there many times and will continue to dine there in the future.

The lentil soup was very nice, but it was just lentil soup. The chicken paillard tasted like fair food (disappointing, obviously). The wine and cocktails were very good. I enjoyed a Negroni. The general atmosphere was disappointing, the entire room, smelling of very cheap disinfectant, something similar to Mr. clean. Too many staff members, many of them idle. Not a well oiled machine. Do not think I'll be coming back.

Smug general manager! We had ordered a special birthday dessert which he was aware of ahead of time but it never came. He never apologized just looked at us and shrugged his shoulders not saying a word as we left offering no apology.

I went here with my husband for our 1 year anniversary and fell in love with the place! We ate in the main dining area (not the music lounge) which has a beautiful fireplace. The food was some of the best we have ever had, the service and ambiance were top, and the experience overall felt fancy without being fussy or over the top. We got complimentary butternut squash soup shots, ordered the octopus and the lentil soup for starters, and two pasta dishes for mains (one ravioli with short rib and one gnocchi with mushrooms)--all delicious. For dessert, we loved the profiteroles!

I like the crab cake very much. I like the seafood and fish entree with soup. The soup is not what I like. I do not like the signature pounded chicken entree. The rest are good. I enjoy the Apple Tarte dessert and dark chocolate soufflé. Beautiful space and

It's a beautiful venue. There were several special events being celebrated today. For a Friday at lunchtime, it was crowded. No one was rushed and the service was attentive. We shared oysters which were delicious and the hanger steak frites was perfect. We will return for sure.
