Went here for dinner last week with the family. Ordered Chicken Piccata what was delivered had very little resemblance to the traditional dish. Was basically sauted chicken breast swimming in chicken broth. Very disappointing especially in view of the fact that in the take out counter in front they had Chicken Piccata prepared with the proper lemon sauce and thin lemon slices. This is what Chicken Piccata should be: How an Italian Restaurant in business for many years would not know how to prepare this is beyond me. Save your money and go to far superior restaurant in Port Chester - T & J's. Always great Italian food. As other Yelpers have mentioned there's a good reason this restaurant is on life support and virtually out of business. Avoid if at all possible.

There's a reason the in-dining portion of Pasta Vera is typically empty. I would not recommend. Our food was not fresh, tasted watery and lacked all flavor. Go to Terra down the street.

Over the last few years, we have eaten at Pasta Vera many times and every meal has been fabulous. This evening, i had veal scaloppini that was grilled and served over rice and mixed vegetables. It was delicious! My wife had a salad with grilled salmon and my friends ordered two of the chef’s specials. Pasta Vera also offers take out meals, including various Italian specialties like eggplant Parmesan and ready to go in the oven pizzas. If I lived or worked in Greenwich, Connecticut, I’d be either dining in or picking up takeout at least 5 times a week!

A very good restaurant located off of Greenwich Ave. They take all major credit cards and serve delicious pasta, vegetables, sandwiches, and will make ice tea or let you bring in your own tea bags and not charge you for the tea. I have had several good meals there, and it is delightful.

It was a feeding extravaganza and a rich gastrological experience. Had some Federalist Cabernet and tortellini and sausage as well as a seafood ravioli special that was so good that a bite to share wasn't offered. Come to think of it I didn't offer sharing mu dish. We had dessert- total gluttony but no regrets. We had 7:00 reservations and it was kind of slow and we were the youngest diners by 20 years. About 7:30 the place was packed. This is a go to pasta place- no frills and excellent home made food.

This place is a real find. We have been going here for the last 20 years and ordering regularly during the pandemic. The food , service and people who Work here are outstanding. We love their Fish and pasta specials . The quality of ingredients and portions are the best value in Greenwich. Service is always warm and hospitable, you can tell it's family run.

I had a very nice dinner here last week. Ordered the pan seared NY sirloin steak topped with a garlic herb butter with grilled asparagus and crispy smashed potatoes. Cooked as requested and delicious. I hope to go back soon.

Pretty good lunch specials. Still a decent price on Greenwich Ave and hope they keep it this way. However, the frozen yogurt was waaay overpriced and I will not get it again.

If I lived in the area, this is the kind of place where I'd go every day and try every item on the menu until I figured out a go-to favorite. Since this was our first time (my wife and I were on vacation), we got the fish special and the shrimp special. The shrimp was great, the fish filet was just OK. I should have picked up on the vibe and gotten a pasta dish, but I guess I learned my lesson. At about $50/person all-in (including tip), we'd certainly want to go back often.

As always, excellent service and food quality and selection. The ambiance is relaxed and non-pretentious. Their daily specials menu is creative and fresh - my veal and wild mushroom special was delicious. Good wine and cocktail selection. Highly recommend.
