Townhouse is a fantastic restaurant! The atmosphere is chic and upscale, but not at all stuffy. There was a real variety of clientele from dates to families to a private event going on in their wine room (well-separated from the restaurant, just got a peek). Highly recommend the scallops.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

I had my daughter's bridal shower at Townhouse in the Penthouse room upstairs. Everything was perfect! Dana was an absolute pleasure to work with, the food was delicious and the ambience was beautiful and elegant. Guests were raving about my choice in venue. I would highly recommend.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Townhouse last Dec 2023 and it was an awesome celebration from the food, the elegant venue, the service and the planning assistance provided by Dana, Event Manager. Food is of very high quality from appetizers to dessert and our guests are all raving about it specially the main course short ribs. I wish to thank Dana and all the staff, bar tenders, service staff, even the valet staff for making our day extra special.

I would NOT recommend anyone to plan events here. I had the most horrible experience trying to plan my baby’s birthday party. Dana, the event manager, was absolutely rude and unprofessional. She never offered to show me the private room in person, and she adamantly refused to provide one extra chair and a high chair for my baby. She even made a suggestion to move my baby’s first birthday(!) party to a dark wine cellar room and told me I can’t set up decorations since this one extra chair will take up way too much space in the room.I was left very upset and just completely turned off by her uncooperative attitude. I had no choice but to give up our deposit and move the party to another restaurant just two weeks prior to the event. The new restaurant in Greenwich offered me an immediate tour of their event space and were able to accommodate an extra guest instantly without giving me any attitude.Don’t waste your time here. There are plenty ofother restaurants in Greenwich that will be more than accommodating. What a shame because I used to love this place.

Upscale dining room with comfortable upholster seats and a few private recessed tables behind curtains. Weekends are the only time I can dine out for lunch and it's becoming increasingly difficult to find a restaurant serving a lunch menu on Saturdays. They are either not open for lunch or only serve brunch. Both my friend and I wanted more than eggs and pancakes, so the Townhouse fit our requirement. Also was swayed by the easy commute and free onsite parking which is rare in Greenwich. Service was attentive without being intrusive. For most of our dining we were the only ones in the restaurant until midway through our entrée a table of three entered. Saw wait staff setting up large tables for dinner service. They offer ala care or 2 or 3 course prix fixe menu. For the 2 -course meal the first course offers 2 different salads and the main is either a fish, pasta or steak dish, none of which appealed to us. If you choose the 3-course meal a selection of two desserts is available. We both opted for ala carte. A pasta and a fish dish with us both starting with the Caesar salad. The salad dressing was creamy and tasty. A large focaccia crouton was placed on top of the salad. While the salad was good, I noticed a few leaves that had brown spots down the middle of the leaf. I pushed those aside. Not many but I noticed them. My friend had the Oreccheitte short rib ragu, pancetta, broccoli rabe, grana padana ($29). There was no broccoli rabe in her pasta bowl (zero). She did enjoy her dish. I ordered the miso marinated cod accompanied by several small slices of shiitake, bok choy and shishitos peppers in a soy beurre blanc sauce. I eat a lot of Asian food so was surprised that the sauce tasted more like a Marsala then Asian which would have been my preference given the dishes description. The three pieces of cod were flaky and moist. There were a couple of salads that you could add protein at an additional cost and a burger for $24. Otherwise, in my option the menu swings more to dinner options and pricing. The Cod was $41and Caesar salad was $15 which is the same price as dinner. We enjoyed the ambience and service. The food was good. A menu with more choices or a couple of weekend specials would entice me to return for lunch.

Beautiful location with friendly welcoming service - not like some other welll know greenwich establishments who need a refresher on manners . From the welcome to the waitress -bus boy and manger and especially the chef - everyone was on their game .

a complete mess .. lobster salad was thrown together in a dog bowl. My wife ordered scallops and they were so old they were rotting. Runny risotto looked horrible and the rotten scallops thrown on top. I ordered Lamb and it was overcooked dry and tasteless. the side was weird combination of mushrooms and tzatziki. Service is annoying asking if everything is ok every 2 min.i cant believe how bad it was , ruined a good night out

Beautiful place, absolutely delicious food under proper fine dining label. This was our first visit, we tried tuna tataki, salad with blue cheese, ravioli and burger. Every single dish truly deserves mentioning it here. Also, the gentleman helping us out - Daniel - was an incredible support with food recommendation as well as choosing the right wine, which by the way was a great choice too. Thanks for having us.

Townhouse in Greenwich hits all the marks, especially in the bar. Moody bar, fireplace for these chilly fall nights, great drinks, and our meals (halibut and scallops) were delicious... but what truly set it apart from all others, was the service which was on a level we haven't seen in Greenwich, or many places. Even the valet service was outstanding. Fernando, the manager that evening, was checking in with diners throughout the night , as was the bartender (didn't get his name) who made perfect drinks, took our order and made sure we had everything we needed . Everyone there took service to a level This looks like it's going to be our favorite in Greenwich!

What a hidden gem this place is!! It's classy with a small menu, excellent service, and delicious food! We got there late on a Thursday night so it was not very busy. We had Sauvignon Blanc (should have gotten the bottle for a better deal) with some appetizers and mains since we wanted to focus on the seafood options. We started with the spiced lamb meatballs which were SO delicious; creamy yogurt with a kick of harissa, not gamey at all. Must have. We cleaned the plate! Then we had the arugula salad with peaches and goat cheese which had a nice crunch with the granola bits. Next we're the scallops, crab cakes, and salmon. The crab cakes were my favorite; crunchy exterior with lots of delicious seasoned crab inside. They may be the best I have ever had. Scallops were beautifully plated with a variety of roasted veggies. The salmon was my least favorite but I'm also not a big fan of salmon. It was nice and crispy, and I liked the lentils and veggies it came with. Truffle fries were amazing!! I don't ever pass them up on a menu. The service was attentive and professional. I like the booth seating with the adjustable lighting. Very romantic so a great place for a date or celebration. I like the amount of options on the menu; not too little and not too much. They also gave us some port wine with our dessert which was nice of them. I highly recommend dining here! I will be back again for sure!

We recently went for a meal in the private wine room for a family anniversary. The service was amazing and the entire staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate this event! Cannot say enough good things, the food was fantastic and we cannot wait to go back. The atmosphere of this room was amazing and really enhanced our experience. Highly recommend.
