Our waiter was engaging, pleasant, and he made us feel special. An extensive menu selection, and every dish was delicious.

Love the seaport tavern vibe and the chatty waitresses. The signature lemon pepper chicken doesn't really taste like much and the calamari was limp with a bland butter sauce. The vibe is the attraction.

Historic restaurant with good food! The staff is very friendly and the service was great. The calamari was delicious as.well as the fish and chips. The fish was crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. Lastly the DPI fries are a must eat. Highly recommend eating here!

From Robert, I had the fish and chip and it was delicious. The cod was lightly battered and flacky as it should be. We also had calamari with perfect blended sauce, describing it as quite delicious. The atmosphere with a gas fired stone fireplace, old wooden beams accented it nicely. And the service was great also.We will return, thank you.

The food is delicious. The portions are very big. We had the fish and chips and it was delicious. The clam chowder was very good; thick, creamy and flavorful. The service was excellent. It's a crowded and popular place because the food is always great. It's our third visit and we would recommend getting a reservation ahead of your visit.

Excellent atmosphere, service, libations and fare! Where else can you go to a Colonial Tavern-Restaurant that was built before the American Revolutionary War.
I have been coming for years and have found that it’s gotten better if anything!
Fireplace in the bar is great.
It’s my favorite in Mystic CT.

Everything about this place is great, the history, the music, the beer, but the clam chowder is the best I’ve ever had.

One of the best, if not the best bowls of Clam Chowder in New England. Still the best bowl of chowder around.
