I have lived in this area for over 4 years now and no other poki bowls come close to the ones you can get here! The yellowtail is delicious, make sure to get spicy mayo with it. The amount of food you get for the cost really makes it.I’ve never dined in so I can’t really speak to the atmosphere but I’ve been eating these poki bowls for years now. I’m obsessed and I tell everyone about them.

Great Sashimi preparation, very polite service. It's family owned so there's some noise, I personally do not mind that but if you're against it, it might bother you.

Food was excellent, though I wish I'd gotten a warning that the fried dumplings had JUST come out of the fryer. Portions were appropriate for the cost. Take out seems to be the popular option for this restaurant.

The food was delicious. I didn't even use the soy sauce for anything. Nice quiet atmosphere and the staff was wonderful. I truly enjoyed having lunch there.

Was visiting from Minnesota and was not familiar with the menu. They happily made me a few specialty rolls from back home. Great experience

Am I in an alternate universe? I ate trader Joe's frozen shumai and gyoza for a decade, and I'll now eat my shoe if this isn't literally the same frozen snack.

Friendly service and excellent sushi! We ordered a bunch of sushi rolls and they were absolutely delicious. We also ordered some noodles which were also top notch. We will definitely be back often!

Edit: I feel now is a good time to update this review. Due to inflation and rising costs, the prices have gone up. That said, still 5 star in every way. The best value now adays is still the lunch special, but if you are feeling something really filling, the poke bowl you cannot go wrong with! The size of the rolls and the amount of fish you get are far more than most restaurants for the same price, so dont be fooled by the price, you will leave satisfied. I've been all accross the eastern US for my old job, and i have not found better quality, and the only places that beat the value are all you can eat sushi places, where quality is clearly not the focus.______Great food great price! Nowhere else can i get sushi for the same price as mcdonalds. The 10$ lunch special is a steal!

Mom & pop owner run sushi restaurant. The boba tea delicious and you can customize the sweetness. The food is fresh and delicious. The fresh house salad with the ginger dressing is the best I have ever had! Sushi rolls were really good too. Everything was good! Friendly, clean and great service. I would come here again!

Very expensive for just 2 veggie rolls. The service was good and the rolls looked good too. Unfortunately the rolls kept falling apart and the sweet potato roll was mushy. I wouldn't go again.

Let me start out with saying I can't speak about the ambiance because we didn't eat there in person. We got take out. My boyfriend picked up the food but he said the person giving him it was really nice so that's a plus! The good part - the food! This sushi was super yummy. We got 2 orders of the smoked salmon roll and added avocado to them (really recommend). Just so you know - it's because we usually get the "Alaskan roll" but around us (Norwich, CT) the Alaska roll has smoked salmon and avocado and more. Not sure why. But it's super different here. The fish tasted fresh and smoky but not so smoky you couldn't taste anything else. The veggies were fresh too.I will say that the rice was much softer than we're used to having? I'm not sure if it's always like that since this was our first time ordering here but it was definitely noticeably soft. So just be aware of that since I've never had my rice that mushy? It was still yummy - just threw us off.I do really really recommend the specialty Colorado Roll (chicken tempura, spicy tuna, spicy crab, eel sauce, sweet chili sauce, spicy Mayo, and "crunch"). It sounds like a lot and is a lot but it's so good! It was the star of the show even though we were just being experimental in ordering it. It had all the right things. Chicken and raw fish might seem weird but actually go for it if you have the money! (This one is pricy at around $18+tax).My boyfriend did enjoy his California roll but it was a normal one of course. And I really liked my sweet potato roll cause I love the crispy sweet salty flavors. If you haven't tried a sweet potato roll yet - you really gotta! Even if you're usually all in it for the fish!As an appetizer we got two orders of gyoza - one pork and one kung pao chicken. They were both really good. The kung Pao chicken was surprisingly delicious. I don't recommend the sauce they give you as it just tasted like soy sauce with garlic but honestly both gyozas stood out by themselves. Juicy on the inside and crisp on the outside. The kung Pao chicken one was the best and most fun gyoza I've had. It is savory and has a bit of a kick so there's a heads up if you're sensitive to spice.Altogether I'd give the place a 4.5. Minus .5 for the kinda mushy rice but good once you get past the texture differences!Sorry my photos are mostly in their takeout containers! We dug in super quickly haha.
