Best Chinese food in Groton hands down. Matter of fact I don’t think I have had better Asian food anywhere short of my trip to Tokyo. Nothing else in town even compares.
Food was ready in a timely manner. Was still piping hot by the time I got it home and started eating which I loved. The Egg drop soup was okay. Wonton soup was good. Egg rolls were fine. Shrimp fried rice had no flavor or color to it?? Overall not bad but not my favorite.

Ordered for the first time today. The beef with broccoli and the orange chicken were both delicious. The reduced rating is because we also ordered the sugar biscuits and recieved them without a speck of sugar on them or even in the bag. This is an easy enough remedy as we have sugar here we could throw on, but it's disappointing when you order something and it is not as advertised.

My wife and I stopped in here for a quick dinner. I had the stir-fried udon with pork, which was excellent, with juicy, tasty pieces of pork. She got the General Tso's Chicken combination, which tasted more like sesame chicken without the sesame seeds: the sauce was flavorful but had none of the spicy or sour notes that General Tso's should have. No table service? Cool, no problem; I can live with that, especially since there are signs clearly stating it. This *would* have been a solid 3-star review... ...except that they refused to give me a glass of water with my food and wanted to sell me bottled water instead. I will not return until this policy changes.

Born and raised from Kailua, O'ahu, HI, I have a pretty high standard for oriental food in general as Hawai'i is a mixed pot of the best. And this place has always been my favorite for to-go/delivery Chinese food. I hate to say I've never stepped foot inside the restaurant, obviously it will happen one day. But if their food is the best I've had here in CT via delivery I think that says a good bit. Just wish I could get some char siu ribs! Stoked you have "steamed BBQ pork buns" on the menu, it's basically manapua (what they're called in HI) and now sushi??? Haven't had the sushi yet but, mahalos ? for your food, I hope whenever I do dine in, it's everything I imagined lol :)
My wife ordered takeout unbeknownst to me because I told her last time that the food tasted old and dry and that I wouldn't eat there again. She ordered from the the lunch menu, the General Tso white meat chicken and some boneless ribs, the chicken was fresh and tender this time but the boneless ribs were like shoe leather (Absolutely unedibile) I've really tried to like this place because I knew the last owner and served delicious Asian food. The Rice Box was so-so until recently when they started branching out into being a sushi restaurant, seemingly they started neglecting Chinese cuisine by serving it way past its shelf life

I ordered general C4. General Tso's Chicken they gave it with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I dont eat pork. I called to try to rectify the problem but they didnt care and would not provide a replacement. I cannot pick it up bc I am sick. They only care about money and not customers. First and last time I’ll try this place.

Overall it was positive. Ate at the restaurant and had the sashimi with hot tea. The food was what I expected (a good thing), good quality fish, and I had a good conversation the receptionist. Definitely would recommend and would go back.
