Love this spot for breakfast. They offer so many choices, it makes for a difficult decision. There were tons of decadent choices like stuffed French toast, but lots of lower calorie choices as well. It has a very charming family feel and the coffee bar is self serve. I love that! My only request would be to add smaller plates to the menu. A 3-egg omelet is just too much for me, but the choices, again, were so tempting.

A fun , informal place to grab a really good meal. The cafe is the kind of place where you'll run into local friends pretty much every time you go. I love the food and the muffins are simply wonderful.

Today, the place was empty because of the weather so there was no problem with service. The food was good. Note, they are only open until 2.

We moved away and have been gone for 7 years. Coming back I knew that somewhere in time was at the top of my list for places to go back to. It's still just as wonderful. The specials change weekly, and I keep an eye on their Facebook page for when they are posted(typically later Friday), and plan if I'm going to go the next week based on what I see. I have noticed their waffle specials sell out and are off the board by the time I come in, even if it's a Tuesday, and that's a bummer, but I'm normally wanting their French toast anyway! In the two months we've been back, we have gone twice. First I got chai maple pumpkin bread French toast, and today I got the grinch special French toast which was double chocolate banana bread, with cream cheese and chocolate drizzle and banana slices. Both were amazing! I always get a meat side, like bacon or corn beef hash to break up the sweet with something salty. The service is always amazing. Personable and kind. Food always comes out quickly. Inside is seat yourself, which can get a little wonky when it's full, but we typically find a spot pretty quick! They are also no longer cash only! They now take cards!

Hear ye hear ye-please report to Somewhere in Time Cafe for a delicious breakfast with friendly service and allergy friendly options. Do not bypass this option, I can't believe I was not aware of this adorable place before today. We had a change in plans and decided to go in another direction for the day and we're starving. I quickly googled gluten-free breakfast and found this shining light in a food desert area. She quickly outlined the gluten-free options and told us that she would avoid cross-contamination. Upon arriving there is plenty of parking. There's also a lot of seating. We received the extensive menu quickly. There are so many options! My Kid opted for the gluten-free toast which was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of powdered sugar on it. It was accompanied by a nice size of crispy bacon. It was approved and the plate was cleaned! I ordered the veggie scramble with sourdough toast. It was delicious! It had a ton of different vegetables in there but it was a good balance of vegetables and eggs. Sometimes when restaurants make vegetables scrambles it gets too watery but somehow the cook avoided that. The toast was grilled which was interesting But it was fantastic. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about our experience. I really hope our next visit there is just as fabulous as this one was. I'd like to commend the staff for offering gluten-free options that are actually cooked separately, a lot of restaurants don't realize that if you cook gluten-free pancakes or French toast with the regular options then that makes it not gluten-free. Really appreciate the knowledge and attention!

I had high hope for this place. The food was ok. Everything tasted a little under seasoned and was a bit bland. The over easy eggs we asked for were cooked somewhere between over medium and over hard. Our waitress was friendly and service was quick. I could see the great ideas behind some of the specials and maybe we just had an off day for the restaurant.Overall, not bad, but not great either.
