One of the last great breakfast all day type/ endless menu and combos place around. Whatever you order is cooked to perfection with super quality ingredients. I know i know, sounds like a tv ad but im being honest. If you want some breakfast that takes you home as a kid, order "The mess". One loaded plate w everything one needs for a breakfast comfort meal! Oh yea, the servers and staff are #1!

I always love breakfast at The Shack! I almost always get eggs Benedict, and they're the best in the area BY FAR. This time I had corned beef with eggs. Eggs were cooked perfectly, the corned beef was crispy on the outside, and my coffee cup was never empty. Waitstaff is always great. Always.
Excellent Breakfasts, reasonable prices and outstanding service---AND most Breakfast selections include coffee or tea Gratis‼. Styled like the diner it IS, very casual and comfort driven. Child friendly and very clean restrooms, too. Desserts home made, and very large portions of everything! Yeah, I'll be back, bringing both my friends AND my appetite

I've been coming to eat at The Shack back when it was just a shack in East Lyme next to the driving range and I was just a toddler. Maybe it's the nostalgia, but it's still one of my favorite places to eat when I come home. There's something new and delicious to eat every time you come in, if you want, or stick to a classic that is classic for a reason.
