I ordered 2 pies for Thanksgiving. The pumpkin was good but the pecan was soso. The crusts seemed premade which was disappointing. I found them expensive for the quality.

I have been getting their chicken salad wrap for over 6 years now. My family and I traveled from FL and made sure to stop here. It's definitely my favorite lunch spot in the entire area. They have the most delicious cinnamon sticks (kind of like a cinnamon bun). It's cozy and they accommodate food for children. My son loved getting a giant cheese tortilla they made for him growing up. The service is spectacular.

Haven't been here in a long time and stopped while in the area. Still delicious. Buffalo Chicken Rustica was always my favorite and it's still awesome.

Great quick dive for lunch! Very fresh chicken and veggies. You can tell it's homemade. One thing I wish was that there was more potato salad! That was so good. The service was quick and accurate and you can tell the owners care about you! There are a lot of regulars that came in and you could tell the owners loved them. I would plan ahead if you have a large group as there isn't a lot of seating but there's enough for a couple on a quick lunch!

Staff was very friendly. Food was amazing. Especially the potato salad. We will go back again. It’s nice to have a little sandwich stop like this around.

I am always on the hunt for exceptional pastry. I go by there at least three times a week and decided today to drop in. I got a chocolate log and it was so fabulous! It was rich , and chocolatey, and the pastry was flaky. Outstanding!

The whole thing can be summed up as follows: The Chocolate Log is ridiculously amazing. I went to take a picture of it but here is all that’s left. And after devouring the whole thing in a few short minutes I’m pretty sure I popped a button on my jeans. Thanks a lot Village Bake House. ?

The Village Bake House in Niantic is a great place to get lunch. The veggie melt is delicious and they make great potato salad.

The food was okay. A bit expensive but it was just okay. Another member of my group and I had both our sandwiches burnt, and another got the wrong order entirely while we were the only group dining in. I would venture another go to see if it was a one-off day, but this visit was just okay.

Recently asked Jeff to provide lunch for 72 people with short notice (2 days). He pulled it off without a hitch and everyone was very satisfied with the results. I would strongly recommend the Village Bake House!

Nice staff, menu choices were good. Food is good. However, I was disappointed with the size of the wrap. They use a tortilla and it wasn't as large as a regular wrap, especially when sharing one. We had the chicken pecan wrap. It was good however it could use some pepper or herbs to brighten it up.
