Pasta Avest has delicious food, the staff are friendly and make you feel like you’re family, and the environment inside is clean, cozy, and relaxing! I think not being able to decide what you want to eat because everything is delicious is a wonderful problem to have!Favorite item is the sausage and peppers sub. They even have specials and recently the chicken cutlet with mozz, cherry peppers, and hot honey was a genuine knock out of the park.These guys are a hidden gem that shouldnt be hidden. Prices are prices, everyone has to make a living but I’ll be the first to tell you they’re absolutely worth it!

Had such a wonderful time at Avest this past weekend! Sarah was so sweet and welcoming. All the food was absolutely delicious and incredibly reasonable. There was a chicken cutlet, prosciutto, straciatella on focaccia special sandwich of the day that was so incredible I keep daydreaming about it. Fingers crossed they add it to the permanent menu but I’d go back in a heartbeat regardless!

I have no bad things to say about this place. The owners, Sarah and Neco, are super friendly and super welcoming.We tried a pizza (so many toppings to choose from - we got pepperoni, ricotta, and hot honey), their sandwich of the day (chicken cutlet, prosciutto, and stracciatella), and also a pasta (rigatoni with vodka sauce and chicken cutlet). I love that they have so many pasta options. You get to choose your pasta shape, the sauce, and any toppings to add.For those on the go, they have a convenient salad bar, prepackaged hot foods, and a variety of pizza slices. If I worked in Guilford, I think I'd stop meal prepping and just come here every day!!Pro tip: they make fresh bread that you can buy ;)

I ordered 2 items:Small Veggie Bomb pizza: $18.00 and a side of sausage: $6.50 priced according to the PDF menu on the website.The actual charges when ordering were increased:Small Veggie Bomb pizza: $21.75Side of sausage: $7.95($5.20 more than expected)In addition there were 2 additional surcharges that took me by surprise:Small order fee: $1.99 extraDistance to deliver fee: $2.99 (I live near the High School!)($4.98 more)Gratuity was automatically added but I was able to modify it to a lesser amount.Phew – an extra $10.18. Ouch.The Veggie pizza was just ok ….The side of sausage tasted dry.My total VISA bill was $42.21 which I think was costly for what I ordered.If you never ate there before I would encourage you to try it as there are many good reviews. I doubt if I would ever order again, as once was enough for me.

Pizza was good. I would recommend Avest. But, the chicken parm was tasteless. Not good. Staff was excellent though. Just keeping it real.

I ordered shrimp scampi, the catered size. I asked what size the shrimp were and they said medium. I specifically stated that I did not want tiny shrimp and also I bought 15 more for $1 each to be added into the aluminum container. To my dismay, I received the tiny shrimp that I did not want. When I spoke with their staff or owner, he said that the order came in with the wrong size shrimp and they gave me more tiny shrimp to make up for it. I asked, "Why didn't you call me?" They were trying to appease me by giving me extra of the shrimp I explicitly stated that I did not want. They thought that would be acceptable instead of calling me that morning to tell me the situation. Bad decision. I felt they valued not losing the order over keeping good communication with their customer. Instead they lost a customer. It tasted good but the shrimp were about the size of my thumb nail. (I took a photo) Will not go there again.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the owners. We rented the upstairs room for a birthday party and the owner (Sarah) helped every step of the way. They are so accommodating, so thoughtful and you can tell they really care. The food was delicious and the service was also great. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially for private parties. Thank you so so much!!!!

First time here and had the Steak and Cheese. WOW. The woman who greeted me was incredibly friendly and the sandwich was fantastic! I overheard the two construction guys sitting next to me telling her the Pizza they were having is their favorite in the state. My new go to spot for lunch!
Stopped in for a Panini the other day and it was delicious! The service was friendly and fast. There was nice little crowd in there eating lunch and definitely would be a great spot to take kids. Excited to try their pizza since the change in ownership. My daughter also grabbed a fresh chocolate chip cookie while we were there and she loved it!

We stopped here for lunch. All of the food looks delicious. We had pizza which was perfect, all three different kinds of pizza. The entire crust was crispy. The soup of the day was homemade delicious and all fresh vegetables. Can’t wait to go back!Parking: There is a bunch of spaces in front and on the side of the building.
