The best fish market in town. It it never smells fishy, so you know, it's fresh. However, just keep in mind higher qyality does cost more. However, it's worth it. They also sell fine cheese, and they make their own fish salads.

We moved from Boston to Madison as our place to retire in the fall of 2020. That was a complicated year for us, so we didn't even know about Star Fish Market until later in the following year. Since then, we have become regular weekly customers. We love many things about our new home town, and Star Fish heads the list. Owners Michael and Colette are always on hand, and the staff is exceptionally knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. Oh, did I not mention the seafood? Absolutely the best ever, anywhere: fresher than a 9th grade boy and cut to perfection! And the resident golden retrievers are a sweet bonus.
